OL has talent. And it’s probably the most meaningful aspect for an O.
-
That’s not an emphasis on running though. Which is the talk. And the disaster pass attack setup Washington to end the game a quarter in and get up 17-0 i have never said he should win. I have said he shouldn’t get a complete pass. His O and its incompetence should be judged. Given his OL. Vet QB. Improved skill guys. It’s no better than Frank who had it much worse
-
Offensively? We should be able to evaluate him with the highest paid OL in the NFL, a good RB, Vet QB, and okay WRs. we have become no different than Frank with a horrific OL, bad rookie QB and worse WRs. D and winning? Sure, he gets a pass on that. But not the O

What did you expect when we hired Fitterer’s BFF?
CRA replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper and Caldwell looked all over BOA and hired the best GM they could find there. Then Dan stuck with his Seattle boys. The Seattle fixation has been a key aspect of our demise. -
First 16 plays, Hubbard had 6 rush attempts. Panthers down 17 that’s what people are talking about. That’s not run heavy with your best player. Canales always leans pass early and it goes south. Even when Hubbard is on fire in previous games

We aren’t the 2021 Lions. They will have won more games in the end and they were more competitive losses. And they had an energy and belief about them. outside of a Raiders game that made know sense, we have been getting out doors blown off by everyone. Lifeless. No energy. No belief.
-
The Lions with Matt Stafford were at least entertaining on O. They had a couple winning seasons and he would throw it all over the field to Megatron. I dream of us being the Stafford era Lions at this point
-
Tepper has proven he gives zero fugs about that. He hired 3 soccer coaches in 3 years He has 4 NFL coaches in 5 years there is always someone to take a pro job that comes with big money
-
not saying we should be starting Bryce…. saying we just no different than if we were. And THAT is on Canales.
-
Prepare your mind for Bryce's return. Dalton is bad.

Omar coming!!!! -
now that the film is out on Dalton in Canales’ O… we really are no better than a Bryce Young offense. O production and overall QB play basically backs that the last 3 weeks. at some point, Canales has to be better on O. It’s the highest paid OL in the NFL and old man AT being injured with our additions is no excuse. He shouldn’t get a universal free pass on everything
-
Joe Flacco can win games in the NFL and he is 74 years old. We ain’t just missing a QB
-
I mean, he had moments of not horrific. Clearly Canales fears that because Andy should be done for today. He is old. You don’t put old men out there in beatdowns to take damage if they are your starting QB. poor roster managment. He should of added a QB he could sub in for these moments
-
Canales is fugged that he can’t even take Dalton out in a massacre….because it’s so bad that Bryce might be better in the moment and give him that headache from the press to deal with lol
-
The 2023 Panthers are beating this team.
-
Tanking is intentional. We just went out and bought the most expensive OL in the NFL. That’s trying and failing
-
Well, my overall comment isn’t just talking about a quarter of football. Canales has been doing it consistently the past several weeks. score has now gotten out of hand. So there isn’t much to talk about in this game. I would wager if you stuck with Hubbard in a close game…Carolina O would start winning some on the ground.
-
Washington doesn’t that good D. We have the most expensive OL and a good RB. You still play your strengths even if a meh D plays the run.
-
Overall it’s been Canales that has stopped Hubbard more than opposing defenses. AT isn’t much of a threat. If an offensive coach can’t scheme up XL, Coker and Mingo to replace AT WITH a vet QB…..that’s probably on the coach
-
That’s different. You asked why people want Canales to run the freaking ball and not go to the pass so early. Hubbard is our best player. Leaning on him prevents the opposing from getting on the field and scoring points. Canales doesn’t do this. He should.
-
running the ball keeps the opposing offense off the field
-
We have made everyone look like world beaters this season outside of 1 fluke game. We just made the Falcons and Bears look great
-
Canales needs to give up playing calling and focus on the painfully obvious picture stuff
-
oh $hit, Omar coming! Prepare yourself
-
Announcers are even like…what the fug is this playcalling.
