Stars Coker I honestly don’t think anyone actually impressed but him. Star for me implies more than just being status quo or meeting reasonable expectations. Coker actually should have made a roster spot jump tonight. I think you got to at least temporarily demote XL. He got to earn it back

I don’t really follow it. Not sure how she would’ve been part of 89 cheating on her with a Ravens employee. I’m assume she has some self respect and leaves a chronic jerk after the year is over.

Short story. He cheated on her and got caught. The other husband caught him and called him on the phone. Recorded it. Then posted it online. NC I think has one of those year long separation laws before you can divorce. So I assume it just a time game before she cleans him out.

It’s our starters…. vs 2nd and 3rd stringers. And it wasn’t like we just ran them off the field. So yeah you gotta keep all that in perceptive. So yeah, decent work. Starters couldn’t even keep their composure on it too. You can’t rate that drive that high. It was fine. That’s not my definition of good. Only real good opportunity would have been some quick big play TD vs dudes who shouldn’t be on the field with you.

This is not shocking. Tepper owns the worst team in all of pro sports since taking ownership. Shocking would be something usual actually occurring.

As far as a grade on the overall work this team got to put in. D+ One decent drive for the starters vs Browns scrubs. That’s literally all the good. And you got to ding that unit for getting smashed their first drive by Browns backups….and then your starting WR being a complete idiot on your one drive. D was horrible ST horrible O horrible minus that one drive horrible and uneven work (zero run game) Hard to have a lot confidence in where Dave has us at this stage. Plus the entire NFL world will be talking about a 5th round QB with no real camp work being the best thing on the field as what happened tonight

Yeah, this game does feel very much like that Bills game. But the good news is this is our first outing. We got more time and that was the lead up into the season.

Some inconsistent logic to claim BY did what he was supposed to vs 2nd and 3rd stringers…..then dismiss what Sanders did out there. And BY gets real work going into this game . Sanders did well, nothing wrong with admitting that. And I have hated on the Sanders crew more than anyone

Heck bring back the wildcat. Jeebus. we aren’t getting good work in at all this game. Entire game has basically been one drive. Hubbard shouldn’t be the leading rusher at this point with 10 freakin measly yards.

Hubbard still leading Carolina in the 3rd with 10 rushing yards. Maybe lets try run the ball and figure out how to move the ball outside of one drive on the day

I’m a Sanders hater. But for a guy that hasn’t gotten a lot of reps in camp….Sanders is doing pretty decent for his first NFL reps/preseason game

Coker is a much better WR, XL better physical tools. Physical tools alone just ain’t much at this level

PR and KR are the different animals though. Rosters are full of guys that can KR

Etienne only logged 2 career punt returns in college. He ain’t PR guy. Only real NFL return guy on the roster is Hunter

Missing a lineman doesn’t somehow making anything sort of even out there. XL dumbassness counts as bad too. That’s speaks to where Canales does and doesn’t have folks. You ain’t got your starting WR mentally smart coming in. It was a fine play. But it’s not a great play when scrubs shut you down and have to get them after the play breakdowns. Bar should be high given its 2nd and 3rd stingers. It would be fine if it was the starters out there for Clev and Bryce was surviving Myles Garrett and pulling that off and basically every possession by the Panthers thus far minus one has been a dumpster fire….as Dalton takes a sack and they punt. 3 and out one “good” drive where your starter gets booted in spectacular fashion vs 2nd and 3rd stringers ST turnover 3 and out Can’t love that thus far

Renfrow can cleanly field punts. He isn’t going to house it but can get some yards

The starters only played in one game last year and that was vs backups. One drive. They scored on it. But it wasn’t crisp. Browns backups got a 3 and out with a sack. That’s bad. And it took a play breaking down scramble drill to find the endzone the 2nd drive. That’s not the type action I want vs 2nd and 3rd stringers. It means the Browns shut down the initial play Im not overreacting but painting this as drastically something different and new is getting over the skis. They didn’t look great given how much the deck is stacked for them IMO. But it’s just one preseason outing.

XL is stupid. All he did was put his hands at risk for getting broken. Brown defender smart enough to try to pry XL’s helmet off. Canales’ team looking bad so far. 89 full of poo. That’s not a good look. TMac making a great catch while blanketed on a go route isn’t offsetting this thus far
