Is it documented/rumored anywhere what they have actually offered Burns?
-
Burns cares what they guaranteed $ is. 72 million is really the relevant number

I could see Shipley playing in the NFL. Seems like he would be a good fit as a 3rd down committee RB. I’ve always viewed him as a poor man’s CMC.
-
True, but Dabo pretty consistently can’t handle anything said. Pros and cons to it. He is going to defend his team to a fault at times.
-
He is no Etienne. Just reliable do everything pretty good RB. Mafah has run better on the year. He doesn’t do the rest as well.
-
I’d stay away from Clemson, they are the definition of probably able to beat almost anyone….and lose to almost anyone pending the day.
-
Mafah is basically 1b to Shipley though. They are different but it’s not really a drop off.
-
Yep. And if Dabo didn’t love me some me so much….he would get less criticism. Or if he was less thin skinned. Way better coaches get poo from people than Deion Sanders. This Deion is being treated mean narrative is funny in the world of coaches and football.

Again, 157 snaps coming off a lacerated liver. It remains absurd and you didn’t address it. Mentioning his son plays QB has nothing to do with the point made. people flip their poo around here if 89 were to return 1 kick. Can’t risk that!!!! He will get hurt. And that would be something along the lines of turning 60 snaps into 61. Sanders is overusing Hunter for exposure for himself (because it’s a novelty act and it worked) and to aid his son. Simple as that. And he was willing to do it even off that injury. College football is slammed full of guys that could play both ways. They don’t. It doesn’t happen. Because it’s foolish. do the simple math on the snaps Hunter would have as of today if he hadn’t gotten hurt. That’s comical punishment, wear and tear to the body, absurd risk, puts him on the fields late and drained , etc. and saying his son plays behind a bad OL isn’t in the realm of what that point is about. if you don’t think Deion Sanders can and should be criticized? That’s silly. Dabo is a top 5 coach in college football. And he should be criticized and is. Same for Saban.

Dabo has 2 National Championships, played in 10 college playoffs games, 8 ACC Titles. Dabo doesn’t have 1 more win than Sanders. That’s not intellectually honest. and Dabo has been pooed on from day 1 to today. People forced to give him his props when on the mountain top but have largely rooted for his downfall for a long time. And Dabo brings a lot of it on himself for running his mouth so much.

first came back from his lacerated liver….Hunter logged 157 snaps vs Stanford. Which is beyond absurd. Respectfully, he doesn’t. Hunter gets Sanders attention by being overused. Hunter playing 2 ways helps his son look good. And that’s the priority. Priority is Sanders and sons. And I don’t think Sanders even sees and is aware his flaws.
-
You seem to omit the fact Deion is inviting and seeking the attention. He creates it. Then you complain when he gets what he seeks….
-
I bet some fans are going to pour through those 40 known games he got tickets for and find him pop up elsewhere in the coming days
-
If the man is Tepper/Fitt/Reich in this scenario…..you probably are right about that need. They suck. Join the movement. All you got to do is endorse Brown and Evero and poo on everyone else above them and hope change comes soon. * and don’t worry. When you finally admit Fitt is garbage there will be no I told you so brother . You will just be welcomed with open arms. No grudge here.

let's find a way to throw Shane Beamer in it. Now that Clemson sucks, I have to get invested in hating on the Gamecocks again.
-
I can't believe I'm sitting here....more excited to watch DJU than Klubnik this weekend lol. Clemson got a little boring there for awhile being part of the routine final 4. But this isn't what I was looking for lol.

that's how people like to frame most discussions. I think Sanders has/had potential to be a good HC. And I frankly was very high on him at Jackson State. Really liked what he did there. I don't think think from the start to present day at Colorado has been an impressive example of Sanders the HC. Think it is highlighting a lot of his flaws. And frankly, I think the fact his kids play there is a double edged sword for him as HC. It's basically bringing out and highlighting his flaws. Probably creating them too.

sorry to inform you that was just a missing word. To a statement I have repeated. I don't talk like the team. but it is pretty funny. dudes are flipping their poo because I don't talk and accept coach talk, PR, etc as the end all be all truth. Because it never is. and then same people have repeatedly shared in the last 24 hours prime examples of Frank, Thomas, etc. and how they say things that aren't true, paint untrue narratives, etc. I mean, that just sports. and I don't assign the most nefarious possible interpretation to things. That just how YOU choose to hear it. Which is silly. I can't control that. Because often in those very same posts you freak out on....I have also gone in detail and said the things teams and coaches say are what they are suppose to say as coaches, teams, etc. For example, Thomas Brown selling bologna about his WRs. It's not true. He knows the people in the room know it's not true. But he says what he is supposed to say. It's just how sports, coaches, business is done. When Frank Reich is told by an owner, you need to X, Y and Z. He doesn't come to microphone and say that reality. Frank says he made the decision. He paints an untrue story for the masses. And that's okay. What else is Frank supposed to do. BUT.....that's why I can say what I say. I can call things how I perceive them. I'm a fan. I don't have to go along w/ company narratives. Organizations say things that aren't true. Or aren't entirely true. They want things perceived how they want them to be perceived. Sorry you can't handle that being said. I don't really care. Which is the whole point of all this lol.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I would blast any HC that went to the media with 4 games left and said he would be replacing his OL next year. I would blast any coach HC that has done what Deion did with Travis Hunter. Deion isn't being held to some weirdly high standard with any of that. Deion is essentially is a fake TV character. Always has been. And in all honesty, he gets pass on a lot of behavior most coaches wouldn't get.
-
Everyone on the Colorado team about to turn into that a hole from Remember the Titans that let the defender through and got the QB knocked out.
-
That would be fine behind the scenes. That's not what Deion did. He went to the media and told the media all those kids would be gone. I don't know things will be much different. I think there are questions about how playing for Deion actually is. Same for coaching for him. I wouldn't want my uber talented kid playing for him. See Travis Hunter as the example of why not. I also think it might be hard for him to get the type players he needs to actually round out the roster that makes a good team. The non-super stars types. Deion doesn't look attractive unless you have odds to be part of his reality show.
-
It's a bold coaching strategy. To tell your entire OL they will no longer be playing football there......with 4 games to go and your son lined up behind them lol.
