  1. Several women in my life have been (physically) sexually harassed, or assaulted, and one was raped. None have gone to the police. I believe all of them.
  2. So given how common this supposedly is can you give me some links and details to actual cases involving >12 plaintiffs where it was all completely fabricated?
  3. Buzbee seems to be centering himself in this case and it is disturbing and frustrating given the importance and magnitude of the accusations against Watson. The last line of his statement about seeking other law enforcement is very peculiar.
  4. that's why Teddy is so infuriating. he has the ability to do so much more than he does, as he regularly shows early in games and often between the 20s. but he just seems unable to trust himself, or the players around him, or the coaches, or whatever... he can't get it done. Teddy isn't terrible because he's bad at QB, he's terrible as an option for us because he is anti-clutch, and if you want to win in the NFL, you need to be clutch.
  5. It may just be a matter of making sure they have a couple good eyes on Fields. I personally prefer Fields so I hope they do, too.
  6. Given Rhule has already seen Mac Jones quite a bit, in this particular case, I wouldn't read TOO much into it.
  7. I love Fields and hope we find a way to land him without giving up 3 first round picks...
  8. I didn't watch enough Jags games to compare but the stats don't back that up. Glennon has only .2 more intended air yards per attempt and .1 fewer completed air yards per attempt than Minshew. Their intended air yards per attempt were both more than Teddy's. I don't think Minshew has a cannon but he is certainly more aggressive with the ball than Teddy is. Despite that, he threw fewer interceptions per attempt. But we hopefully do better than either of them. If not, and if he's cheap, I don't mind Minshew.
  9. Didn't we already have confirmation Verge is Phil Simms?
  10. Arguably we had teams in the Fox years that were a good QB away from being very, very good. In the Cam years, it was often coaching or OL, and even a single difference on the OT... well, who knows... But your second paragraph is exactly why you can trade the farm for a QB once the rest of your team is in decent shape. Ours is not. Trading the farm for someone entirely unproven is a HUGE risk. I was on board when we were talking about an existing franchise talent, but... we have too many holes IMO to give up 3 first round picks and 2-3 2nd/3rds to get Wilson. If Fields falls to 5, he will be available for much less than that, though, and i'd be on board then.
  11. I fully intend to return to insanity by this afternoon, thank you very much!
  12. if anything what the 49ers trade shows is that if you feel you only need 1 piece to be competitive, you can sacrifice a ton. We are not 1 piece away, so sacrificing a ton for unproven commodity, even one as enticing as Wilson, seems too big a risk.
  13. Wilson will cost as much as Watson would have before, it seems, which just feels ridiculous. Given that, and the fact that Atlanta is not a viable trade option, we're simply going to need to see how the draft falls.
  14. Maybe... maybe not. Talk of SF taking Jones could mean Fields or Lance (more likely imo) is available to us. If not I'd like to take a shot at Minshew.
  15. If we get one of the top 4 QBs, there is no reason to spend any significant draft capital on minshew. But if they would give him up cheaply, sure maybe. I still think you're looking at a 3rd or 4th and if you get a qb in round 1, I don't think you want to effectively get another qb with 3/4. I'd rather ride with Teddy for another year in that case while the rookie learns on the bench.. at least early
  16. Worth noting that Minshew's percent of throws resulting in TDs was 4.9, and INTs was 1.5. Teddy's numbers were 3 and 2.2...
  17. there's something ridiculous about internet trolls insulting division 1 athletes.
  18. Do we know NE is still interested or is it just speculation?
  19. I would probably prefer Minshew to most of the QBs outside the top 5 or 6... if we can get him for a 4th, we should.
  20. All I mean is that if we can't get a QB in the first I still expect them to draft one at some point.
  21. Maybe, maybe not... that contract suggests the Patriots themselves aren't so sure. He certainly will have a better offense around him now.
  22. Not at all. Our team has lots of holes. But QB is a big one and Teddy's inability to perform with the game on the line was obvious.
  23. ok, so Teddy can't win the game but if you put a star cast around him, maybe he won't lose the game? heh
  24. More his game logs show inconsistency from one start to the next, and this year it was particularly clear in the last 4 games relative to the beginning of his year... I do think that coaching could correct his issues but I haven't watch as much of him as some others. I don't like him in the first round but who knows after that.
  25. His job is to win games, if having to lead 4th quarter comebacks or game-winning drives is too much pressure, what is he good for?
