I kind of like Jordan Travis. I think he could develop into a solid backup and be drafted in a late round. Rattler has arm talent but he probably goes higher than I’d like, plus you can run a similar offense with Travis and Young IMO.

And if you can’t draft right you really aren’t going anywhere regardless. You have to have faith in your GM and staff at some point.

It's all relative. They are also going to be asking for proportionately more money. It's just a wash all around.

How would Houston know no one else would jump them for Stroud at 1. They “backed out” before we made the trade according to this story. If they were comfortable at 2 then they liked both players.

Right. Logic is tough for some people. It’s sad because I actually wanted Stroud, but I’m not rewriting history and acting like Young was some reach or no one else wanted him. I was ok with the pick when it happened, still thought Stroud had the highest floor.

Yeah we wanted the top pick more. Hell their HC still won’t say they preferred Stroud, just “we liked both options.” If Stroud was there guy he would have no problem saying we got our guy. I believe the link you shared is referencing another trade the Texans attempted involved us as a 3rd team. The first one was straight up to 1 but the cost way too high for one spot. It mentioned they wanted pick 12 or next year’s first. I don’t blame them for staying put and it definitely worked out with them getting Stroud.

If Wilson can stay healthy he could be a steal in day 2.

That's understandable. He has to build confidence and play better next year no doubt. Hopefully we build a decent little offense around him and turn him lose. If we find ourselves with the top pick again and little to no progress from him I wouldn't be surprised if we try for another QB.

When someone says he looks "shorter" then references hair and I respond with hair doesn't matter because they use pins and reference Mahomes while stating official measurements overrule pictures. Then you quote that and reference mutiple pictures that's a height conversation you are interrupting... 5'10" and 1/8 vs 5'10" and 1/8 again would be height. The weight was pages ago... Block win percentage is pretty basic. They just use a percentage to account for opportunities. Burns was 6th in the league.... Brown is the most important by far. We need to extend him ASAP!

Trying to argue against official measurements with pictures is not a valid argument. It sounds like someone just refusing to admit they were wrong....

Getting pressure is pretty important as well. Incompletions and hopefully interceptions can come from that. I pointed to his sacks last year and you said they didn't come at game saving times so I am showing they were next to zero opportunities for those type of plays do to the offense sucking. I'm not a die hard, but just saying you may see him take off on another team once he gets more opportunities. I hear fans crying about CMC and DJ all the times now, trade Burns and you might get more of the same.

That's a fair argument. Just when he gets more opportunities and continues at his rate you might have some pissed off fans like we are with CMC and DJ Moore.
