I wouldn't be surprised if they cut him or trade him for pennies on the dollar, but he will be a cheap option who has some potential. Hey if we sign Kiffin as a coach he might want to roll with Corral! (kidding.... kind of).

If we draft a QB in the top 5 I would imagine he would start week 1. I know there are exceptions but generally these top picks play quickly.

I could see MC being the backup to a 1st round rookie we draft next year. If we have a top 5 pick and get a new staff you have to imagine we take a QB and let MC be a cheap backup unless we want a vet.

I don't think many are saying Fields is a franchise QB yet. He has just flashed potential last year with little talent around him and Nagy coaching him. He started off rough in week one on a soaked field with a new offense and seemed to settle down as the game progressed. I would be excited if he was doing this as a Panther. I also think Baker played fine yesterday (rough in the first and damn near elite in the 4th). People blaming the loss on him didn't want him on the team and are determined to be right. They are ignoring us refusing to run the ball, our terrible run defense, and Baker getting sacked 4 times in the first half. He stayed calm and rallied our team to take the lead with just over a minute left.

Trask went in the 2nd and is 3rd string. You said Strong was the best in this class and he isn’t even on a roster. Give it up man. You have no idea what a rookie 3rd round QB that is on IR is worth in a trade. Especially one that looked as bad as he did this preseason. So you make up a value on which one is worth more, call it reality and act like you threw some knowledge out here. Again you should stay away from QB talk. I think you are a bad omen for them…

I'm sorry but your top rookie isn't on any team this year. Corral looked like the worst of all the rookies this year and Trask is 3rd string. Of your top QB picks you have one never making it and the other 2 are 3rd string, but please keep acting like you know what you are talking about with QBs. I'm sorry the defense didn't hold the league that long and I'm also sorry that you somehow think that is the QB's fault. Keep trying though, I mean a broken clock is right twice a day.

Outside of his terrible PI call when he ran through Cooper in the end zone and ruined Woods' INT, I feel like Henderson played decent. I need to rewatch it though. They seemed to pick on DJax and Horne was being too handsy.

Our offense put up 17 points in the 4th quarter and was actually clicking. It also looked like we made some half time adjustments.

TOP was terrible because our run defense allowed over 5 yards a carry and that same defense let them go right down the field and capture the lead with 8 seconds left. You talking about Mitch vs Burrow or Cousins vs Rodgers. Yeah they did this game, but that clearly isn't the end all because that would mean you think Mitch is better than Burrow and Cousins is better than Rodgers. You aren't that dense right? You just have a weird thing for Baker... To recap Baker had 88 more yards a 6% higher completion rate on 7 less passing attempts with worse protection and a worse running game. Lost the game in the first half yet we had the lead with just over a minute left in the game. I get that you hate the guy, but you are making no sense. Teams play based on how the game is going. For example we wouldn't have thrown a bomb to RA if we were up by 3 TDs. To say that a play or series in the 1 quarter is the reason we lost a 2 point game is illogical. The Browns could have changed their entire game plan if we had our offense clicking early. Who knows what would have happened? At the end of the day Rhule wouldn't let us go for the kill with a TD attempt in the RZ. Then our defense couldn't get a stop during the last minute when we had the lead. Coaching decisions and defense let us down at the end.

Oh know don't pivot. Your logic that Brisset is better than Baker because his team won would imply Mitch is better than Burrow and Cousins is better than Rodgers. See how it sounds when you use it with other teams....

None of these draft picks were considered reaches. At some point we have to look at the people developing and coaching them. That point will hopefully be this season.
