Yeah no more red flags than a Lance or Josh Allen. I read Willis plays some hero ball and trusts his arm too much. That’s a lot of college QBs, especially those with lesser talent around them.

I wouldn’t hate Cam mentoring Willis with McAdoo coaching him and a nice FA OG addition to our line. BC, FA, Elf, Brown/late pick, Moton with Cam/Willis at QB. Maybe Cam for the first few games and start working Willis in. You wouldn’t really have to change the offense. I

Just draft a freaking QB for the love of God. It’s very easy to recover if you miss and it won’t set us back nearly as bad a trading for a good one. If it works out you suddenly have a cheap QB you can build around.

People have different lines morally. Supporting a football that knowingly doesn’t care about sexual assault/crimes is a strong line for a lot of people. If people are against it the best way to change it is to stop financially supporting it.

When it’s out there in your face it’s difficult to ignore. I’m not saying to do full background checks on everyone on the roster, but we KNOW he has been accused by a lot of women and are interested in him as a leader of this team? Where do you draw the line? Do you want Bill Cosby to help with scouting? How about Harvey Weinstein?

Personal feelings are all over entertainment now. That’s part of it now. If we land Watson, I can still like other players in the team, but there will definitely be a dark cloud over our franchise. Let another franchise have him. It’s a terrible decision for the franchise with him not have legal issues. Throw those in and it’s disgraceful…

I wonder if Fitt is meeting with Cam to see if he is willing to have a mentor role at this point in his career. That would make sense if we were looking to draft a rookie…

It makes sense. McAdoo seems to be high on QBs with the most upside. He liked Mahomes and Allen. Willis fits that mold the best in this class. Scouts were high on him last year as well.

(7-8-1 isn’t a winning season) We never could accomplish back to back winning seasons which means no sustained success. Losing more games than you win with an elite QB is pretty bad. I would call it unacceptable. Now doing it every other year would be considered a failure by me. Following each good year with a bad one was incredibly frustrating as a fan and watching the window close sucked. I much rather build a team from the ground up then hope/pray one QB can save us with little to no help. I’ve already seen that movie and it’s not a happy ending.

We didn’t give up 3 years of 1st/2nd/3rd round picks and take on a bloated contract for Cam. Also falling into the playoffs at 7-9 and losing first round isn’t a good thing. Hell that’s 2 more wins than Rhule had. Never having back to back winning seasons shows we never had sustained success. Even with prime Cam, all our picks, and more cap fluctuation. Now try it with a even worse OL, no picks the next 2-3 years, less cap room and a shitty coach. What will happen?? Oh yeah and Watson might not even be able to play… Just because it was better than we are now, doesn’t make it a good deal. We are at rock bottom now.

Yeah basically no better than when we had Jake with a loaded team. Now take away our 1-3rd round picks the next 2-3 years and cripple our salary cap and see how it looks. Hell we couldn’t even have back to back winning seasons then…

And 0 back to back winning seasons and an early ending to his career because we never gave him an OL. One of the reasons we have never won a SB. Now imagine Cam with ZERO draft picks the next 2-3 years.

Because we won so much with prime Cam?
