  1. The GB game got out of hand quickly and snowballed. I think we will have a chance to win at home IF we can get some pressure on Winston. Let’s see what Snow can dial up…
  2. It was a great throw. Robby did have to slow down his stride which is no big deal. People claiming it was underthrown are probably referencing Robby slowing down. If he didn’t have his guy beat so bad that slowing down could have prevented a TD. However Darnold was under pressure and got the ball where it needed to be which led to a TD. Looks like a great throw to me.
  3. The staff wants to treat him like a rookie and the play designs show that. IF we want him to fix his issues I think our staff wants to slow it down for him first (that’s where the check down/safe throws come in). I’ll take a few high passes over a pick all day. The red zone offense still needs some work, but it should get better with practice and reps.
  4. That I would be happy with. I just don’t want to overpay. He definitely brings good energy to the defense as well.
  5. He was ok. They seemed to be targeting him towards the end. I definitely don’t want to overpay for him. If Horn becomes our number 1, we really just need a solid vet at the 2. I could be DJax, but not for a premium…
  6. I was just wanting some clarity, but I clearly see two posters on this thread alone that though the same. I saw it bouncing off the hands, but I didn’t have the best view could have been fingertips…
  7. I don’t think Teddy hits Anderson deep enough for him to run it in. That’s a stop your route and catch the underthrown ball while getting tackled throw by Teddy all day….
  8. I even saw the players/coaches talking to Thomas on the sidelines immediately afterwards (granted there was no sound). I assumed they were wanting to keep his confidence up after the drop, but it could have been telling him good job/effort getting open.
  9. Am I missing something? Thomas had to reach up for it, but it looked light it bounced right out of his hands. I was at a sports bar in TN so I was not super close to the TV, but I was definitely cursing Thomas under my breath…
  10. Ian Thomas dropped an easy RedZone TD also…
  11. It’s game one with a new QB, line, and a few key players. We should only get better as the season progresses and just walked away with a W.
  12. Maybe having all this talent around him will let him roam free with less pressure.
  13. Can’t tell if we are decent or the Jets are terrible?
  14. Less than 50% with a pick and a fumble… He is fast and has a string arm, but still seems to have a long way to go IMO.
  15. I can see Sam’s confidence growing as the game goes on. Defense is also playing great!
  16. Running up the middle with this line is going to be tough…
  17. I was hoping this staff would be better than that…
  18. Agreed but we are definitely in more of a rebuild stage than these playoff teams. The Rams have made several runs with QB play being the issue that holds them back. They are hoping Stafford fixes this. We are in year two of gutting our roster. Definitely trending in the right direction. Put it this way, Stafford makes the Rams potential Super Bowl contenders and would make us a potential playoff team IMO. If he came here and won one analysts would be shocked, not so much over there…
  19. Definitely one of the reasons we got Horn at 8. I think Rhule even mentioned a good CB helping our defense get off the field on 3rd down. Huge weakness that has been addressed. We had a solid offseason considering our weaknesses at QB, Offensive Line, Linebacker, Secondary, TE, and Slot WR going in…
  20. We are still missing some pieces. First we are the youngest or second youngest team. We have offensive linemen, linebacker, and FS issues. TE is still a bit of a question mark. LA had a roster than was in “win now” BEFORE the Stafford deal. They already made several playoff runs already. McVay is also more proven than Rhule at this point. The LA decision makes sense to me and I kind of want a young QB to grow with our roster…
  21. LA is in win now and Stafford is old so it makes sense. Plus LA has a lot of marketability…
