  2. Good call on Warton. He got moved around the OL and never missed a beat.
  3. For example your data starts with Brady winning. Before that dynasty it was more wide open with different teams winning different ways. I don’t think that what they accomplished would be considered any sort of norm for the league (although the Chiefs might be proving me wrong currently). I get what you are saying though. Teams just have to be looking for ways to win outside of finding the next Brady or Mahomes, because that’s just not realistic. That’s like counting on winning the lottery as part of your retirement plans. I would focus more on the other teams that have won and how they accomplished it. Most of those were solid, balanced rosters. One could argue the Patriots had a nice defense helping out Brady keeping games close for him to do his clutch drives. Similar to the Chiefs playoff run. Their defense isn’t getting enough credit either because it was tough in the playoffs.
  4. I understand but whenever you say only this number of recent QB Super Bowl winners it just basically takes out those two QBs/teams with the exception of one or two. You are absolutely accurate, but those dynasties are currently skewing numbers IMO.
  5. We just have to build a solid roster no matter what. Keep building our roster and either Bryce will show us something or we will find another QB. The Super Bowl thing is always going to be skewed because Brady and Mahomes won half of them. Outside of that you have the two mentioned with Peyton and Ben, then you have Nick Foles with the Eagles (loaded roster), a couple of Eli playing clutch with strong defenses putting up 17 points and 21 points. The is no reason that can’t be our future as long and we keep making this roster better each year starting now. Hopefully Morgan and Co can do this.
  6. We got rid of embedding links in honor of @TheSpecialJuan
  7. It could be, but the fact that he felt a need to say it shows he is somewhat aware.
  8. The two signs of hope I kind of see are 1. He hired an outside firm to help make his hires this time. One that has had success doing so for other teams. 2. He said he is staying in the background now. I now people are doubting that but the fact he is actually saying that in public means he is some what aware.
  9. I think someone will offer a trade for him since he was viewed as a high draft pick. I'm not sure it would be anything to get excited about. Probably a later round pick with a possibly contingency on it. Some team will think they can use him "correctly" or develop him at a low cost. I could see him in SF even as a backup at worst. He is from Cali and that offense is kind of made for him.
  10. Icky has Yosh behind him who has 22 starts under his belt and looked decent at LT and RT for GB. There is also BC who can play LT if needed. BC is also depth for the interior OL. My biggest concern on the OL is C because we will have Corbett trying to play that position for the first time in his career. DJ is proven and AT will no longer be WR1 so life should be easier for him without constantly being force fed the ball. So your starting 3 early on are probably DJ (proven), AT (proven), and Mingo on his 2nd year with XL getting worked into the offense. Brooks should be our future at RB whenever he is ready to go plus he and JT Sanders have decent hands. That puts more receiving options on the field. We need Mingo to take a step forward in his development OR XL to contribute sooner vs later (preferably both but that's wishful thinking) for our offense to look decent IMO.
  11. He needs to stay healthy and put up some numbers and he could move up to the top part of the draft fast. 6'4" 215 with a strong arm and can be dangerous as a runner. You know he is going to have some talent around him at ND. They should be an interesting team to watch this year.
  12. His strengths can’t be coached but his weaknesses can. High ceiling low floor LB. Evero can hopefully develop him properly.
  13. Oh God, I didn't realize he was a new alt account. I'm sorry for even entertaining the troll and continuing the derailment of this thread.
  14. Give it up. You stated he REQUIRES (I'm assuming you know what that word means) both feet to leave the ground before he throws deep passes. I provided evidence showing that is wrong. You were wrong, got carried away, overexaggerated. It happens, just move on. So yeah there is a screenshot of him doing it but he does not ALWAYS do it which means it is not a REQUIREMENT.
  15. https://www.panthers.com/video/must-see-bryce-young-slings-45-yard-dime-on-the-money-to-mike-strachan Here is a 45 yard pass. Spoiler Alert.... He doesn't have to leave his feet for it.
  16. This is the part I am talking about. He does not REQUIRE both of his feet to leave the ground as per both the clips I have shown you. Then you switched to focusing in on solely his hip rotation and weak arm etc... His deep ball does not require both of his feet to leave the ground. Your original claim is debunked with video evidence. I'm sorry that you are having trouble handling or grasping that. Back to his weak arm, mechanics, size etc.. have at it. Here is the thread about QBs leaving their feet which I was referencing too earlier.
  17. Oh I watched the 1-15 season and last years 2-15 season. I'll watch this year. Eventually they have to get it right? Right?? I used to get more worked up about it, but if you can turn the switch and make it a purely entertainment hobby it's a lot easier.
  18. That argument could be used for actual trolls. “If you don’t like it find somewhere else to post” is just silly. Some of us are just letting you know, you are sounding like a broken record on these threads. It’s just some constructive criticism. You don’t have to change your ways. I doubt you will. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Feel free to deflect and use one of those GIFs again.
  19. It went from he has to jump to he has to bend his hips. That’s changing it. I showed you clips of him throwing deep without jumping which means he doesn’t always have to. I liked and like Stroud better so I’m not really a Bryce defender. Just think you don’t have to make up things when critiquing our QB like he has to jump to throw it deep. There is plenty of ammo there without those exaggerations. Oh yeah the “you don’t know ball” argument. Classic.
  20. So now the conversations pivots. That's how it goes. Yes Stroud is the better passer. Thanks for that groundbreaking info...
