  1. Burns doesn't want to be here? Source? Also Peppers wanted to play standing up in the 3-4 which we didn't run so he went to GB where he could.
  2. Also the Vikings are looking pretty legit with him right now...
  3. So let's get one THIS year and put an end to the game. It reminds me of "can he play LT?"
  4. The next year's QB class is a game the Huddle has been playing for 4-5 years now....
  5. So not even 2 firsts (the 2nd and 5th more than offset the 3rd and 6th). I know they weren't a year in advance but it seems like good compensation for Burns who is younger but not the force Mack was.
  6. What did the Bears give up for Mack? He was an elite pass rusher at the time…
  7. It cumulative over the past 3 years. Looks like he comes in at 9 looking at it that way. Staying healthy looks to be a big part of it. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-sack-last-3-seasons#:~:text=Since 2020%2C T.J.,most sacks%2C with 38.5 sacks.
  8. Agreed. I think people are looking at what is coming due with him. He is in for a big pay day. Would it make sense for a team like us to max out a player right now when we still need a year or two to make a run? On the other hand how likely is it we replace a top young player at a premium position? It's a good debate.
  9. Looks like he only has one INT on the season? I know he has an awesome WR, but so does Stroud, Hooker and others being considered at the top. Air Raid doesn't bother me as much as it use to. I think NFL teams are incorporating some of that into their offenses these days.
  10. I think Von Miller is on the Bills now, but I agree fug him.
  11. Burns' agent is reading these tweets and thinking about how much money his guy is about to make.
  12. I think people just know we aren’t in win now mode, so building for the future makes sense
  13. Something to think about if we aren't picking the top 2 (which is doesn't seem like we will) then Stroud and Young are probably gone when we pick. We could have a chance at a top pass rusher and then take Hooker/Dugan/Richardson/McCall with one of our second picks. OR we could trade on of those future firsts to move up and select Stroud. If gives more options and our cap will be WIDE open after this year....
  14. Duggan has me intrigued. What's the negatives on him? He has a crazy stat line and apparently runs a 4.5. He is playing decent competition and has beaten a ranked team with a clutch drive. He is like 6'2" which tall enough...
  15. I prefer Stroud, but I think Young has been the best under pressure. I would list that as a strength.
  16. If it was this year's first and next year's I would think about it. It's still tempting....
  17. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Max-Duggan-QB-TCU Is this 40 time correct??
  18. Plenty of “disciples”‘are terrible without their boss. Look at Nagy and now McDaniels.
  19. One took us to the Super Bowl and is arguably the best/most important player in this franchise’s history. The other is an elite RB that has been our feature player during one of the worst periods (about winning) of our franchise’s history. Huge difference. I mean what do you think healthy peak Cam would have got us for a trade. It just shows you how much more important one player was vs the other for our franchise.
  20. I mean that is worse to me. He played the position for longer at the college level and was still that raw coming into the draft. I don't think that hurts Richardson at all. If anything it helps...
