I'm pretty sure they fled last year. It was the wait and see people vs the I know he sucks people this offseason. Week 1 was about as bad as it gets for the guy...

Ward and Allar are the two most intriguing currently as they could jump all around the board depending on what happens. Beck and Ewers seem to be 1st rounders with Sanders turning into a bigger head case each day. Ward is fun and electric to watch, Allar isn't working with much at PSU and it might be a similar situation as Hebert in Oregon where the system wouldn't really maximizing his ability, but he checks a lot of boxes too.

The QB he helped develop is thriving???

He doesn't bother me. I mean he inherited a mess and is pretty green still. We just need to take our lumps at this point.
-
At one time I thought he said he would only come back and play for Atlanta because of it being close to his home. I'm sure his opinion could have changed since then.

If we are wanting Wilks, we would have been better off just keeping Rivera.
-
Oh no doubt. Reich and Rhule...
-
That Bengals game was not respectable. If he could run on a team yeah he looked good. He lived and died by that. We should want something better. Rhule and Reich clearly were not, but we should TRY to get something better.

Derrick Brown potential season ending knee injury
ForJimmy replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah Bryce is going to have to learn to recognize that and hit the hot route or check down pretty quick in those circumstances. I get what you are saying though. I thought you were giving the OL a hard time, they actually looked decent to me. -
I don’t believe Arby’s is him. Vince Rhames does the recent ones. Both have super deep voices though…

He did roll to his left a lot which would explain putting that extra pressure on Icky...

I’m assuming Evero is going to try to replace DB by committee and rotate players frequently. Some tough shoes to fill…

Derrick Brown potential season ending knee injury

Did we have trouble with the Saints pass rush? Our OL did a good job and graded well. There were a few instances where they sent more rushers than we had blockers and we either had no check down or Young missed reading it. -

It wasn’t a good look. If he backed it up with a TD pass the next drive I’d been all for it. -

Yep WRs were open and the OL did its job. QB play was just bad. -

Remember Canales is very green and we probably signed him a year too early. If Young keeps playing last yesterday you have to let Canales get his guy at the QB position unless he just completely loses the team.

Man I’ve had a nasty stomach bug all weekend and this game isn’t helping…

Tulane KSU has two good young QBs competing

If it’s not season ending then yeah that changes things. I mean they traded for Willis (yeah a 7th rounder) and immediately put him over last year’s backup. I was reading Willis looked better in TC this year. My point is if Love is out for the year there is not need to trade or sign some vet that keeps them around 500. Roll with Willis and either he looks good which would turn him into trade bait or he will suck and they get a game changer in the draft. I’m all for boom or bust vs treading water.
-
I’ve seen people mention Tannehill but I’d just ride it out with Willis. If he looks good you can trade him, if he doesn’t GB will actually have a high pick for the first time in a while. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and this is all for nothing.

Signed RB Dillon Johnson to the practice squad.
ForJimmy replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Well looks like that performance didn’t inspire any other team to sign him so we got him back. He was cut to give him a chance of signing with a team after his performance. It wasn’t an insult but a reward. When no one signed him we still stashed him away on our practice squad. There isn’t a spot for him in our current RB room yet. -
I know he came in briefly but he looked instantly better than the older QB who had all of the reps. I think Harrell will be fine. Like you said he looked solid in the bowl games where he got plenty of reps in practice leading up to it.
