  1. I didn’t think about that. Us keeping him for interim saying he has a chance then leaking Tepper wants a young offensive minded coach probably helps his lawsuit…
  2. I only scrambled if I’m throwing other poo in there like peppers, onions etc… It’s like a lazy omelette.
  3. It's so dumb. Ohio State had Haskins who was a one year wonder and some mental issues and Fields who is in a terrible situation. There has only been 4 total drafted in the first round one in 1941 (died in war before he even played), one in 1983 and then Haskins and Fields. People are asking like OSU QBs taken in the first and busting happen all the time. Not to mention judging a player by his school is just nonsense. https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2022/08/05/ohio-state-quarterbacks-int-the-nfl/
  4. What did the Dolphins trade for Hill? 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, next 4th. That's pretty close to two late 1sts not to mention we would be eating a lot of dead money that the chiefs didn't have to eat to move Hill.
  5. They can have Erving for a pick, but not one of our starters. Bozeman might as well be traded too since we aren't using him and he is on a one year deal. We need a good OL for our rookie QB next year.
  6. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-fixing-the-carolina-panthers-2023-nfl-draft-plan-pending-free-agents-and-trade-candidates Interesting article listing Erving, and Bozeman as possible trade candidates to teams needing some OL help.
  7. Yeah not sure about him being a "good" coach still. If he had input on building this team then he might be a good GM. Having such a bad record that Burrow is waiting on you with the top pick isn't really that impressive of a move either. Also riding your DC and QB who was sacked a record number of times to a Super Bowl loss doesn't really prove it to me especially with a bad HC record. Maybe he should hire someone to handle his play calling? There are points to be made at either end with him.
  8. I was just going by his record and people getting pissed at his play calling. You are right though he has built a solid team. (I really didn't know how the Bengals FO was setup). Burrow did kind of fall in his lap, but outside of that he has built a solid foundation around him and went with Chase vs drafting an OL (which was a glaring issue) which paid off.
  9. I'm being serious. The GM kind of took a back seat and Taylor is the one talking about drafting Burrow and how he was their guy from the beginning and they have no regrets in taking him over Herbert. If he doesn't have full roster control he was a huge input. I'll give the man credit for building a solid roster.
  10. The Falcons OC seems to be getting a lot our of very little talent.
  11. Does he have roster control? I wasn’t aware of that and assumed the GM built this team for him. Yeah he was running a “predictable” and “boring” offense which can lead to TOs. If he built that roster than it’s impressive, but Burrow getting sacked 9 times in a playoff game and securing a win says way more about the player than the HC to me. His DC also called some great games in the playoffs and he did hire him, so I will give him some credit for that.
  12. Mac is just mad the offense hadn’t missed a beat without him.
  13. 16-32-1 is good for you? Yeah we have different options. https://fansided.com/2022/10/09/zac-taylor-roasted-fourth-down-bengals-ravens-memes-tweets/amp/ https://www.cincyjungle.com/platform/amp/2022/9/18/23360100/zac-taylor-bengals-twitter-dallas-cowboys-cincinnati-2022-social-media-recap https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-hot-seat-rankings-commanders-ron-rivera-headlines-11-coaches-under-fire-entering-week-6/amp/ He has already taken heat this season. He has Burrow, Mixon, Chase, and Higgins. That should be the top offense in the league. He was on the hot seat list just last week. I will say they are looking better the past couple games.
  14. That’s fair, but a good coach with Dalton would produce a much better offense than what we are seeing now. I honestly think any of the big 3 can play sooner vs later. Young, Levis, and Stroud all have pro style offense and go through progressions pretty well.
  15. Competitive is all I'm saying. Not playoffs, not Super Bowl just a team that can hang with your average teams and beat the bad ones. It's definitely not out of the realm of possibilities next season. Just need to land the right HC first then draft the right QB.
  16. All true, but with that it can still be a much cleaner, competitive product that what we are seeing this year. With our OL locked in, CMC, plus some young core defensive players we can expect a decent product once the new coach's system gets in place. I mean hell if we can throw for a couple first downs in the first half we might have won some of these early games.
  17. Yup. Elite QBs can carry bad HCs to the Super Bowl. Look no further than Cam and Ron. We only have had one team beat us by more than 2 possessions this year. I just think Rhule was that bad of a coach that a new competent will show some growth. I also think better QB play will come with a new OC/HC and top rookie than McAdoo and Baker/PJ. Maybe you are higher on those guys than me. That's your opinion though. Adding players to teams would be assuming every team is getting better every year when we know that is not the case. I think our same roster plus a new HC and QB will make us significantly better, which can jump us from bottom of the league to mid/low middle.
  18. I agree with all of that. All I said is if we get a decent QB and HC we can be competitive (which I explained means beat shitty teams and hang with average ones). Do you not agree? It will take another year at least plus 24’s cap space to put our roster over the edge.
