  1. He only had 1.5 seconds before he was getting sacked.
  2. Aaron Rodgers was 63.4% in college, Drew Brees 61.1%, Peyton Manning 62.5%. Malik is 62.8%.....
  3. Yeah just take him in the 6th round and hope we get a Brady. What are the odds???
  4. I mean we have cap space hanging out to sign one. I think it’s a terrible idea, but it looks like that what we are planning on it…
  5. That really solves a lot of our problems. We won’t be “reaching” for a QB and we acquire some much needed additional draft picks.
  6. Him being aware of the alcohol issue and getting ahead of it early is a plus IMO. How many guys his age have done this. There have been plenty of players that played through alcoholism, but to have a grasp on it before he is even drafted shows a lot of dedication and maturity. He gave honest sincere answers with his depression and potential alcoholism and was open with it. I wish more athletes would do this.
  7. Oh I’m not saying he is off limits, but the post I was responding to said we brought him in. I was curious where he saw that. Pie for dramatic prairie dog!
  8. Well yeah when you draft someone high you hope they are that talented. However look at Ryan Fitzpatrick and the McCown brothers. It’s just not as rare as it once was.
  9. Surely someone would pick him up late and even let him sit a year to help his knee. Risk/reward has to be off the charts…
  10. 40 or near 40 isn’t as rare. Brees, Big Ben, Manning was like 38. Rodgers is 38 and was just MVP again. Now mid 40s like Brady is doing is crazy….
  11. Can Jimmy G take our team to the playoffs? His Niners team had a top defense and one of the top offensive minded head coaches, I'm not sure he gets us there. I'm thinking 7-10 8-9 with Jimmy G as our starter and that's assuming we get a top LT to protect his blind side at 6.
  12. That's a very valid point that I never really thought of. The QBs last year were playing with a stacked team against lesser talent for most of their college career, so no wonder they struggled their rookie years. This year's class would have many games with against equal or greater talent with maybe the exception of Cinncinnati.
  13. Oh yeah I agree. We don't need an injured Jimmy G taking up cap space and draft picks to acquire him just to have us finish with a couple more wins and miss out on another QB next draft.
  14. Are you asking me? I'm not for us signing him or Baker. I think we need to just draft one like most teams do. I'd prefer a trade down and draft Corral/Howell and acquire some additional picks.
  15. They are 0/2 doing it Rhule's way. I don't see why trying a 3rd time is going to change anything. The only way it makes any sense to me remotely is if they get Jimmy G for cheap AND draft a rookie to sit behind him for a portion of the season which is still wasting cap space/draft picks....
  16. It's nearly impossible to tell since none of these rookie have even taken a snap in the NFL. We know that Jimmy G and Baker aren't the answer though as their teams are willing to part with them.
  17. Yeah I read Strong was the only QB we are NOT bringing in for a visit...
  18. Which might be what the Giants are doing. I get what you are saying though. However BC has only his rookie year's couple games to go off of. Daniel Jones has a much larger body of work...
  19. If we go OT at 6 then Elf becomes depth probably. I think they try to slide BC at LG which I'm not entirely sold on. He seems like more of a tackle than a guard to me.
  20. I wouldn’t go that far. He is the leader of his team and seems to have the respect of the locker room. Practiced his craft and had a huge jump this year from the previous working with Kiffin (I don’t think Manziel had work ethic. Seemed like a party boy). I also like that Corral has been open about going through depression and stopping drinking. That shows a lot of maturity to me. He is fiery on the field, but so are Brady and Rodgers. You want a little of that fiery attitude from your QB. We all know Cam had it.
  21. Yeah one would hope they are leaning on him for this decision/assessment.
  22. I’d be interested if we could trade down and acquire him.
  23. He just moved to center last year and had success. Before that he was an ok OG. He got a 1 year 2.8 million dollar contract. That’s shows where the market sees him. He should be solid, but that one year protects us in case he fails.
