  1. Teams are QB desperate I think he goes in the 1st. We will find out soon enough!
  2. JJ isn't making it out of the first. Penix or Nix would be out best bet for a trade down from 33.
  3. CJ didn’t come from much. Football was his ticket and probably his escape. I loved his backstory before the draft from his humble beginnings to one of the top QBs in the draft. He does a good job of balancing humility with confidence IMO.
  4. I think simple exercises like this “back to basics” will help with his fundamentals. It’s boring but probably needed for Young and this offense in general.
  5. Little play action pass training. I’m god with it. Was that DJ with the drop on the first one?
  6. Damn Stroud throws such a beautiful ball. Houston lucked into that one…
  7. Same. I enjoy most of his interviews. I hope he knows what he is doing.
  8. Worthy isn’t my top choice but I like most of it…
  9. I’m not as down on Caleb as some, I think he is going into a better situation with DJ, Allen, Kmet, a better OL, plus other weapons they will draft. I don’t think he is some generational talent but think he can have a decent career. I do think this class is severely overhyped like that 2021 class was. Daniels, Penix, and Nix are all older QBs with Nix and Penix struggling at their old schools. McCarthy played well but limited in a run first offense with a great defense. Maye is still a little raw but could develop nicely if he goes to the right team. If Minnesota gets Maye I think he could have a good career.
  10. ISM won’t stop us from drafting a 2nd WR if value is there. Honestly we are probably carrying an extra WR with the new kickoff rule.
  11. Yeah right now he is our X. He is our best weapon on offense by a good margin. He played some X in Pitt. Even if we draft a solid rookie WR, the offense will probably still go through DJ until the rookie develops.
  12. Oh yeah the gun is going to be his bread and butter, but we can't eliminated all other formations all together. I watched us run up run up the middle on 3rd and 1 from the shotgun way too many times last year. Give me some runs under center, with some PA, rollouts etc to keep defenses off their toes.
  13. The Niners almost pulled it off. You just need an absolutely loaded roster and creative coaching. Definitely not the norm.
  14. He is going to have to play under center some to open up the playbook. Throw in some PA and rollouts and I’m all for it.
  15. That probably won’t be until next year. However it won’t change the rounds. There would only be 30 picks in round 1 for example and round 2 would still be the next day. This just happened with the Dolphins I believe.
  16. All teams spend money. They are required to spend a certain amount, so overpaying for mediocre talent doesn’t really help him. They are rolling with Kirk (who had under 800 yards and 3 TDs), Gabe Davis (under 800 and 7 TDs in a high powered Buffalo offense), and Zay Jones (300 yards and 2 TDs) in year 3 of his rookie year. Their TE is solid but outside of that there isn’t much to brag about…
  17. They traded for Ridley a year after he missed the entire year then just let him walk. They paid a lot for WRs, but who is their best one? Which WR from the Jags is Lawrence’s best target?
