  1. I like Thieneman, but don't think he makes it to 19. I like McDonald's elite run stopping ability, but his lack of pass rush makes it hard to justify taking him with pick 19. Would be all for trading down to like 30 and taking him there
  2. Lol, if we are doing that, we would be very stupid. Sadiq would be the equivalent of drafting somebody like Zachariah Branch (minus his arrest issues from a couple days ago) - a dude with elite level speed that has no route tree. And Branch (prior to the arrest) was a fringe 2nd rounder, likely 3rd rounder. Drafting Sadiq in the 1st round means you think he can flex between inline and slot TE and be great at both. If you don't think he can make it as an inline TE in some capacity (which is what I think), you aren't drafting him in the 1st. I will be extremely shocked if we draft Sadiq. Canales has shown he likes inline tight ends that can block, and I'm confident in saying that is not Sadiq
  3. Ref sounded so sad to say no goal there. Jesus make your allegiance to Ottawa a little more obvious prick
  4. If we play the same 3rd period as 2nd period, we win. But we still haven't seen our 10 minute spell where we play like poo. Hoping we don't have it today
  5. Much better 2nd period than first. Forwards have done a good job on the back check so far to limit odd man breaks for Ottawa.
  6. I'm pretty confident that won't happen with how lost they look in this game...
  7. Maybe this season will be like the pre-kerr warriors. Just like they fired Mark Jackson despite some success to hire Kerr, we fire Lee and hopefully find a coach that will be successful like Kerr
  8. It's hard to say finishing 9th out of 15 teams in the East is a good season...
  9. We have a game plan. It's literally just chuck threes every possession and hope we hit 40% of them...
  10. Seeing how we have looked against the heat and tonight, even if we still somehow miraculously win, we are just going to get swept by the Pistons
  11. Well, this is a pitiful way to end our season... Still think we desperately need to find a new coach for next year
  12. I don't think he makes it past the Vikings (and honestly could see the Cowboys taking him or a team like the Bears trading up to pick ahead of us). Most I would want to see us trade up (if we really want him) is to 17 and trade 19 and something like a 4th rounder
  13. I don't see him making it as a deep cover safety. He honestly reminds me a lot of Emmanwori and could be great as that short coverage safety with his long arms and ball skills + ability to cover tight ends. Is that a player most teams would like (including us), absolutely. The problem is we have Moehrig for 2 more years and just drafted Ransom last year. Granted, I think McNeil-Warren is much better than Ransom.
  14. It's honestly surprising we don't play single high safety more because it's most common in cover 1 man and cover 3 zone. And we all know we run a poo ton of cover 3 zone. Overall, I thought coverage was pretty good last year except the inside hook routes and seam routes. And I think a big reason those were successful is because we had the shittiest of LBs to play zone defense for us + a nonexistent pass rush. Lloyd & Phillips + draft picks hopefully help to address both of those problems
  15. I think people get too freaked out by age. Many times teams don't resign a good player they draft to a 2nd contract because they are cap strapped. So it shouldn't matter whether they are 26 going for their 2nd contract or 30. If anything, we get to capitalize on their prime years.
  16. While I like McNeil-Warren, I hate the pick for us because we already have Moehrig and Ransom (positions that McNeil-Warren would play for us).
  17. Rico had those big games because Canales finally stopped being a moron and put BC at RG + the Cowboys and Dolphins couldn't stop the run. After BC got hurt in the Bills game, our run game went to poo (outside of the Packers game). The common denominator in the games we couldn't run the ball... Corbett being on the field.
  18. Trade down would be ideal. But if we don't, whoever we pick at 19 needs to be ready to start week 1 (and truly earn that starting spot). Can't whiff on our 1st rounder
  19. He was honestly a net liability for the magic tonight. Guy threw up brick after brick on wide open shots
  20. I feel like I'd much rather play the magic than the sixers. Magic's offensive possessions look uglier than ours most of the time
  21. What? We made no adjustments to Miami's zone in the 4th Q and went from being up like 10 to down like 5 before the dumbass called a timeout. Also had a chance on multiple possessions late to call a timeout when our offense looked way out of sync and did nothing. I'm happy we won, but it was in spite of coaching. If Coby doesn't hit that ridiculous 3 on a terribly designed in bounds play at the end of the regulation, we lose the game.
