Can we just hand the ball off to TB for defensive TDs. I'm good with looking competent for 3 quarters but ensuring our tank doesn't backfire -

Looks like Brady should have just stayed retired... He has looked awful this year -

Someone needs to tell our defense we are supposed to be tanking, not accidentally winning games because the Bucs offense is ass -
I wish our dumbass franchise would already commit to a full rebuild, since we badly need to do it. There is no way in hell Burns is signing a deal with us after his contract expires, unless we are offering him double the pay as the next closest team. Unless the 2 1st rounders were in the years 2025 or later, I don't understand how you turn down 2 first round picks for a guy that will be gone after next season...
-
Seriously, just a no brainer if some team gives you 2 1st rounders for a pass rusher that probably doesn't want to stay with this garbage team
-
If some team offers us 2 first round picks for burns, you have to take that
-
Purposely being the worst becomes a lot easier when PJ Walker is your starting QB
-
If the Packers offer us a 1st, take that deal in a heartbeat.
-
I like how you mention his rushing stats but don't say anything about his receiving stats... He was elite in 2018 and 2019, got hurt in 2020, and was brought back way too early (Because Rhule was desperate to win) in 2021 before letting his hammy fully heal, which kept leading to lingering issues throughout the season. Even with teams knowing he is our only good player, he was still on pace for 2,000 total rushing + receiving yards this year. And that's facing a stacked box with 1 (or 0) deep safeties and corners playing tight coverage because our OC has a mickey mouse playbook.

Burns is probably going to be traded right?

I'm not sure winning the NFC south is saying much when, once Brady is gone, the winner of the division might be 7-10... -

No way we get the Saints 1st rounder for Burns. If that pick is offered, there is no thinking about it. You take it in a heartbeat -
So, if everyone on our team demands to be traded and is traded, are we allowed to forfeit the rest of the season?
-
At least Richardson and Hurney achieved mediocrity for us, with a sprinkle of excellence once in a blue moon. Now we are the definition of hilariously epic failure...

49ers dominated a much better Packers team in the playoffs last year (and that Packers are coming off a blowout loss at home to the Jets). LOL at the Giants - their luck won't continue. Vikings are Fools Gold and you really trust Kirk Cousins in the playoffs. I'll give you the Cowboys and Eagles but they are in the same division so one will be seeded lower than 4. The 49ers would be favored against all of those teams at a neutral site except maybe the Eagles

Bears game was in a monsoon (Trey Lance horribly choked that game away) and the Falcons game was on the 2nd game of a cross country road trip. I think they beat the Chiefs this week (and that was prior to them getting CMC). I think they go 11-6 or 10-7, win their division, and probably get the 3 or 2 seed in the NFC. They matchup well against most NFC teams and I could easily see them making it to the SuperBowl
-
Pretty rough travel trip for them having to play 2 consecutive weeks on the east coast. Falcons have also looked pretty good this year and have been perfect ATS. The Falcons might beat us by 30
-
The 6th best team in the NFC??? Behind what 5 teams??? This puts them up there with Philly for best in a very awful NFC. I'll be shocked if the pick is anything better than number 58.
-
Makes sense that a dumbass like Fitterer would think that. Why have 1 1st round pick when I can get 2 7th round picks. 2 is more than 1 after all...
-
I am calling BS on those trade values. Teams aren't going to trade pick 15 for an end of 2nd round pick (pick 60) and end of 3rd round pick (pick 90)... Unless you are the Vikings with their stupid draft pick trade with the Lions last year...
-
Someone gets it
-
A late 1st rounder didn't seem that unrealistic to me to an elite RB that can also double as an elite WR. Getting a late 2nd rounder, 3rd rounder, and 4th rounder is just head scratching... If that's the best offer we could get, might as well keep him and see if any better offers come in the offseason.
-
I'll agree that the only positive from this trade is that we are guaranteed to lose out. Any idea what the record is for fewest points (offensive) score in a season? We might break that... Hell, our defense might outscore our offense the rest of the season
