I completely agree with Sam, literally he was not just having a good game management game yesterday, he was literally playing lights out, and frankly it reminded me of pittsburgh where he played well while everything else failed around him. Im not sure that hes long term, but he's earned a shot to come back (words I literally never thought I would say). I think he very well could be a Jimmy G kind of player for us, draft a couple of guys, see if any stick (maybe even corral), but if not, someone we can win with and develop players around the org.

Had every single qb that was in camp with this team miss games due to injury and straight up cut one for being terrible. dealt with a headcase in robbie anderson. Now dealing with Injuries to both the #1 and #2 corners on this team. Also mind you, he was hired to coach a staff of coaches he didnt choose, the DC who started the year got fired with Rhule as well as 3 other position coaches, literally working with a skeleton crew of coaches. The fact hes even sniffing .500 as a coach should be a minor fuging miracle. FWIW, what you are saying is literally asking the impossible of a coach with no talent and no coaches around him.

I know I won't, I view him In the same vein as cam last season. He gave a lot to this franchise and he'll always be loved. That said, I know the huddle is a different beast and probably will dump on him for very little.

We're within reach of 8 wins right now and thats with a 1-4 start by the worst coach in franchise history. He'd be tied with Perry Fewell if I considered his internship as a real coach. Wilks would have this team between 9-11 wins if here from day one of the season.

according to this playoff machine thing it wouldnt be locked unless Atlanta also lost to arizona next week. Oddly, In the playoff machine thing, if tampa loses out, Atlanta wins the last 2, (last week against tampa), and we lose to the saints who lose next week, but beat us in the last week, the saints somehow win the division, but if tampa beat atlanta in the last game of the season even if we lose, we're in. This division is all sorts of fugy.

2010 season, saints were 11-5 and would have won any NFC division that didnt have the falcons who were 13-3. Went on the road to 7-9 Seattle seahawks and got skulldrug and the infamous beast mode run was born. Anything is possible.
