  1. Yes, I think his ideology is still too intertwined with Fitterer's. Unless he can break away from that and become his own man, then it's time to go. I get having a mentor, but you have to make you're own legacy and stop mimicing your predecessor.
  2. I doubt he comes out this year. Arch is having a rough go of it, he's likely staying too.
  3. I wasn't speaking on Aguilar in particular, just the notion that an older QB that's not with his original school is somehow two strikes/red flags against that QB. Look at Pennix, he went #8 overall. An older QB that was a transfer.
  4. I could care less if a QB entering the draft is 24 or 25-years old. I see it as a plus. In the NIL era, journeymen players is going to become the norm.
  5. Hey, the defense only gave up 7 points in the second half.
  6. If we give Bryce a second contract, you got a good preview of what that will be like in the opposing QB today.
  7. Fun fact--in Bryce's 6 wins in 2+ seasons, none have been by more than one score and all came down to the wire. So even in his wins he had to snatch victory out the jaws of defeat. Largest margin of victory is 6 points, twice, both times in OT.
  8. Crazy we traded up for this dude when we could have stayed put and got McConkey, who a lot of people here wanted to draft including myself.
  9. If we can't get a couple of wins in the next few weeks, we could be in contention for the #1 overall pick. After week 5 our schedule gets absolutely brutal for the remainder of the season save the Saints games.
  10. You think he's going to throw it deep into the teeth of the coverage? Dink, dunk, YAC...that's how stat padding works!
  11. Nah, he makes me not want to watch the Panthers. Great kid, he's just not starting QB material in the NFL. He could be a great backup and have a long career. It's time to move on and find a different starter for 2026 at QB.
  12. Bryce on the final drive: 'oh crap, what happened to the passive 4 man front and soft zone?'
  13. Yup, FIVE incompletions, an intentional grounding and a sack all the while aided by encroachment, defensive offsides, defensive holding and roughing the passer calls.
  14. 107 passing yards before the scoring drive leading to the 4th quarter. Yes, Bryce had a pretty good 4th quarter, but this is MO....garbage time stat padding versus soft zone when the opponent is up huge on the scoreboard trying not to give up the big play.
  15. You mean Bryce took advantage of the soft zone the Cards went into way too early with a huge leaad? I agree. Crazy that one they started bringing pressure on the final drive, Bryce crumbled.
  16. The Cards try their best to give that game away. Typical Panthers, couldn't even take advantage of it.
  17. Ball placement. We are just happy when the ball is able to be caught. Most NFL QBs take pride in not just getting the ball there, but putting it in the most advantageous spot for the WR.
  18. They got that covered, they are giving the 5-10 yard areas. Bryce is at least smart enough to take advantage of it.
  19. Woot! First TD on the doorstep of the 4th quarter! Nothing like garbage time drives in a blowout to state your case as the franchise QB. It's like the pressure is off because he knows the game is already over.
  20. Oh heck no!!!! They better not pull Bryce. He's either going to suck it up and overcome or implode. Those are the only two outcomes. Pulling him to save what's left of his cracked ego isn't doing ANYONE any favors. All that does is make the future even murkier. If he completely melts down, we all know there will be a new starting QB in 2026. Keep his butt in there! I want a clear resolution.
  21. Yep, NFL receivers should be able to catch a pass below the knees, but NFL QBs should be throwing passes above the knees.
  22. Y'all need to got back and watch the full breakdown On McShay's show. Here's a cliip at top; bottom...full episode.
  23. I just found out last nights stat line was not for the entire game. He got pulled at HALFTIME! His younger brother is his backup at Indiana and played the entire second half. Wow! Dude did all that damage in one half of play. I got tipped off by the commentator in one of the highlight clips saying his first name wrong; they didn't. Fernado was on the sideline watching his baby bro Alberto who did decent himself.
