  1. A great running game and a stout D travels. It's not a cliche', it's 100% fact.
  2. If you didn't know the final score, who would you think won the game?
  3. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the Gamecocks fired Shula.
  4. Dropped, how about more accurate? I've also seen a couple passes that should have been picks.
  5. Lol at the dude that pooed me for Rico stealing wee man's spotlight.
  6. Proximity to Halloween, the black cat curse null and void until 72 hours post Halloween. It will return next week.
  7. Praise? You mean the 7 points that Rico has pretty much done largely himself? If anything, the defense needs some acknowledgement keeping a talented offense in check in their house.
  8. I'll do you one better, who has more yards, Young or Dowdle?
  9. I literally was about to post this or roughly the same about playing down to your competition. Green Bay has looked awful and it's a them thing, not an us thing. They haven't just shot themselves in the foot, but emptied the whole clip. They are literally keeping us in the game by self-inflicted wounds.
  10. No matter what happens today, even if we somehow pull out a miraculous win, Bryce has to go. The NFL is too big for him. He looks scared out there. How he has not been snapped in half yet is beyond me? Pure luck I guess, but he's on borrowed time.
  11. For enjoyment or self medicating for the game?
  12. My wife is making a casserole for dinner that has a bunch of dairy: heavy cream, cheese and sour cream, so I guess it's applicable for today's match up.
  13. Mendoza with another quiet, but effective road win. Not eye-popping stats, but he did enough to run up the score and chill from the sidelines most of the 4th quarter again. He's getting a little full of himself. He had one pick for the game and it was a WR screen to the wide side of the field from the opposite hash. Like c'mon bro, you got a good arm, but that's a dangerous throw for someone with a cannon. Lucky for him it wasn't a pick six; it nearly was.
  14. Ah snap, Dalton Bryced, Bryce. Dalton: I got put on blast versus the Bills...oops, now I'm injured, you'll have to play the Packers. Lol!
  15. I think if you get the model close enough, you have a win. There are too many variables to be 100%. Schemes, injuries, coaching changes, being traded etc... Sam Bradford, for example, was actually a good QB, but could never stay healthy and injures cut his career short. Pennington was pretty decent too before the injury bug got him. Mariota and Tim-T are an outliers for sure. The only name under the both requirement removed that was shocking was Luck. Eli was never a super accurate passer. Those Giant defenses won them the Super Bowls. As much was we love Cam, we all know his passing accuracy was his downfall. We know what Watson is now, but at one time he was a top QB in the League.
  16. Yes, but if they draft a QB this year or another team has a really down year....bullet dodged.
  17. Eh, teams have off years, a few franchises are just poo all the time. If I had a NIL deal and still was eligible with the very real prospect of being taken by the Jets or Browns, you had better believe my butt would be going back to campus. NIL deals have reduced the lure of foregoing school for a for a quicker payday. If a QB is good enough for a first or second round grade, he's already making a million or more of NIL money.
  18. Two problems with taking a QB in round one this draft, well three considering Bryce isn't going anywhere, are draft spot and quality of depth. So I think we are probably going to be closer to the teens than we are top 5. That said, the crap teams needing a QB this year will undoubtedly scare some guys back to school. This is a HEAVY underclassmen group. Very few of the top guys have run out of eligible years. If the board stacks like Jets. Browns...bet the bulk of the underclassmen go back to school. Then that's going to leave the class with the likes of Beck, Klubnick and Allar (whose a medical red flag now).
  19. If I remember correctly, there was a consensus among the top brass on Bryce. At least that's what was reported.
