I think 88 can catch better with his legs than his hands.
-
Because we are good at TE, didn't you know?
-
Tampa is getting curb stomped! Not even Brady can come back from this beat down.
-
Having to bring pressure with DBs sucks. We need another DE besides Burns and another impact LB.
-
The Panthers. She hates the Gamecocks more than she likes the Panthers though, lol!
-
Yup, if he hits the skids the rest of the season, the Seachickens may draft a QB with that Denver pick--#3 right now.
-
My wife is a Clemson fan and she cheered when Shi Smith scored. I said "you realize he's a Gamecock, right?" She immediately clammed up, lol!

This gonna piss off the tankers.
-
Then we had better tank or win out. If we end up in the middle of the round, we won't move up. It would cost WAY too much. Even Tepper isn't that stupid.
-
Why? So we can get Levis?
-
Assuming the Broncos continue to be a hot mess, do the Seahawks re-sign Geno on a QB friendly deal or draft a rookie QB with Denver's pick? Possibly both?
-
Just as long as we stay ahead of the QB needy teams, the Texans being an obvious one.
-
Lucky for you. Nothing worse than a pissed off wife.
-
Let them have #1.
-
Should have called a timeout on 3rd down to settle down and get a better play call.
-
An effective TE..who needs one? We have THE Ian Thomas. You know--LEGEND!
-
Woods and Littleton were the only questionable non-FPs on the last injury report. So it makes sense they are both out.

Purdy and White aside, this shows that at least in the short term a team can win a game manager QB as long as it has solid upper management, a competent coaching staff and a solid overall roster. What does the Panthers have in that regard? None of the three and fans thinking we are a QB away (no matter the draft status) from being contenders. Sad, so very sad.

Wilson with the Broncos was one thing, but man was it hard to beat him in a Seahawk's uniform. I know Geno Smith has been good this year, but I'm not sure he can be the magician in a close game like Russell. If it was close, Russ always found a way to seal the deal against us. If we can keep the game close or take a decisive lead out of the gate, I like our chances. Getting Seattle's crowd heavily involved early and often would be a recipe for disaster.

I want the win. The more wins the less likely we make a stupid move with the first round pick.
-
Nah, you don't get #1 overall often, it's rare even for traditionally bad franchises. You take a QB unless it's one of those classes like last year which was incredibly mediocre. Getting the pick of the litter, you have to do it. Even though I don't love any of these QBs, if the Panthers were #1, I would have a hard time arguing against it.

Funny thing is some draft sites have him sitting as a 7th rounder or UDFA right now. If he declares and once scouts get eyes on him, his draft stock will jump. I agree with the article and I've said this all along, his peak will be the 2nd round, no way the first. The 3rd round is the sweet spot. Depending on how hot his stock gets, I'd like to use a day 2 pick on him, that is if we don't take a QB in the first round obviously. I'm staying the course though, Michael Mayer in the first round.

Anthony Richardson declares for the draft

So if we miss out on Stroud/Young, don't make it worse by drafting guys with high bust potential. Talk about setting a franchise back. That will wreck a new coaching staff. -

The Browns and Jets folks say the same thing. One gave the biggest guaranteed contract to a serial pervert and the other just benched their QB of the future. -
Of the 4 choices in the first round, I guess I'm in the Stroud camp...reluctantly. Tua is like on steroids compared to Young and Tua stays beat up. Levis just doesn't have what it takes and Richardson is either a bust or a minimum of a 3-year project.
