Name more than 5 QBs who could constantly produce at a high level in this offense as it is currently constructed without CMC. Serious answers only. Its not even about Darnold at this point. We do not have a top 5 QB and we are unlikely to have one anytime soon. Other issues need to be fixed before we hop back on the QB carousel, none of the guys that are going to be available to us are going to fare any better than Sam unless things change.

Im not saying he is perfect either but I have noticed this for years with our WRs. Guys around the league fight for balls and we act like we dont care if we catch the ball, they INT it or anything. Darnold is 10th in the league with the number of on target throws. 63% on target, in the same area with guys like Carr, Mahommes, and Mayfield. 30 bad throws on the season which is right in the middle of NFL QBs.

Which meant he would have completed 25/41 which is 60%. Im not sure what's funny about completing 60% of your passes.

If we dont play that Thursday night game we are 4-2 at worse. We possibly beat the Cowboys and could be 5-1. Next time just treat TNF like a preseason game and let the backups play.

None of those guys are coming here, We are either drafting a guy or rolling with Sam another year. We could not even get Stafford, what makes you think QBs above his level would want to come here and play with this shitshow of an OL and amateur hour coaching.

Stafford made an easy decision. Rams or Panthers. Rams have a real OL and a real play caller Panthers have turnstiles and the boy doofus. McVay vs Brady is no contest. Hell he made Jared Goff look serviceable.

We gave up 571 yards of offense, had multiple turnovers, tons of drops, and still made it to OT with a chance to win.

Yes we are a rebuilding team, that does not mean we should be dropping games left and right that we should be winning.

Sam had a nice pass to give us a 1st down in the redzone and Robby dropped it, had to settle for a FG. Sam hit Robby on a crossing route which probably gets a first down, Robby drops it. Sam throws a nice pass to DJ on the sidelines, the play Peterson got hurt and DJ drops it. Dj fumbles the ball in the middle of the field and gives up great field position. This is not even counting all the drops just some of them. First reaction is we need a new QB.

This Robby is the first read on too many damn plays, for a guy that only catches wide open passes. Design some plays for TMJ, Tremble, even Zylstra, and not dumb ass smoke screens.

The way the offense looked yesterday is on coaching, no way around it.

It does not need to be rebuilt Brady just thought up a genius play for Sunday! Robby acts like hes going deep but actually runs a comeback, DJ goes deep into double coverage, Chuba flails around like he is an actual target in the passing game, TMJ is wide open but Sam is not allowed to go through his reads and must play in the system. Whats a TE? lol Profit.
