Why would you even compare him to those guys. Yea he's been over paid but also received a lot of hate . The dude had 8 straight seasons of 25+tds and 3500+ passing yards, a few 30+tds and 4k passing yards sprinkled in, while switching teams during that span. Fitzpatrick has one season of 25 td passes or more and no 4k passing seasons. The mccowns are laughable.

To catch what passes, 3k is the little guys high point, only so much a WR can do with a weak ass QB. Full retards imo.

If only we could have an average offense then there wouldn't be so much bitching. As it stands we have one of the worst offenses in the league, yardage and points scored. 27th with tons of assets invested. Another WR isn't going to make much difference when the QB struggles making basic passes. It's crazy how we ship off these receivers but still tugging the along behind us....

I would pass, dude is 30 and would require using a draft pick to get. Maybe if we were in season and having a better year than expected and see the need for a CB, but right now no.

I think at that point a lot of us will just tune out, im not going to keep watching if they pay shorty a boatload of money to hold the team back.

yea hes not going to be traded...coming off a down year, his panther value is not what his league value would be. Im not sure we could trade him even if we wanted to, not for anything worthwhile anyway.

Nah we need to draft someone, those aren't much better or the same tier as Bryce outside of Stafford, but he would retire before playing somewhere else. But with the guys these fools have been visiting with that might not be much better.

On the plus side if we ever get a real QB our offense could be explosive.

Seattle had a sick D but they also scored 483 points, which was good for 3rd in the league. We scored 311 ,the bottom tier. A sick D will only make us halfway competitive.

Which is terrible, 1 QB and 2 first round WRs in the last three drafts and we still have to be a run first team. Am I the only one that sees a problem with this? Also no one is checking for Hubbard, you can get that quality of back later in the draft, he's not a game changer.

That is the exact scenario. If we manage to make the playoffs in the upcoming season it will be off a strong D dragging the pitiful offense behind like an anchor. Then people will still talk about how Bryce is a "playoff QB" i could see us winning enough if the D is up to it, but i expect a step back and a 6 win season in all likelihood. Last season we were 27th in points scored and yards for the season, we arent going to keep doing that and going to the playoffs, either Bryce has to actually improve ( lol ) or we have to get a new QB.

The only reason it is has been so bad is because they refuse to address the position with any real competition since drafting Bryce. After year 2 we knew what we had and it was time, yet here we are going into year 4 and still scared to death to roster any QB that might make the little guy look bad.

I just dont see us taking a OT in round1, it would be a smart move if the right guy is there....but we rarely do smart things. The only guys we have met with on a top 30 in the area of our first round pick is WR prospects so far, mainly Cooper and Concepcion. The only OT we have met with even close to our 1st round pick range is Iheanachor. I think they go 1WR, 2LB, 3DB, 4/5 TE/OT

Probably the only guy that plays QB even close to Bryces size. I don't understand the obsession with having a micro mini QB. Should have just got money Mike if they want a tiny guy back there , at least he was resourceful....

What assets? The defense has been neglected yet casuals still expect them to win us games. We have went OT, QB, QB+WR, WR. Yet the offense is still garbage because of the huge anchor we have tied to it. Now people want a first round TE which rarely ever works out.

Lets blow another pick on offense for us to still put up bottom third of the league numbers. We havent used a 1st round pick on D since 2021 its time for that to end unless a great OT drops to us.
