He’s a Texans fan just ignore

Chubba doesn’t block well but man giving him the ball on first down if we are so determined to only run on first down is way better than sanders

Wow that was a legit throw. It is also unreal how long our plays take to develop.

It’s unreal how much of a step back and disappointment Ickey has turned into this year

I'm kind of excited for today. Bryce showed a lot last week. To me at least, this year isn't about wins/losses anymore, I just want to see week over week improvement by our QB. The rest of this roster outside of D. Brown, Mingo, and our OL probably isn't safe after Scott is gone so let's just see our young guys get better every week.

I feel like tanking is just way too situational. It is way too hard to tell your team we are going to take the entire season to get the #1 pick. However, you have to analyze your situation and do the right (hard thing) sometimes. For example, the Jets had the #1 pick in the 2021 draft Locked up then won a meaningless game in week 16 which netted them Zach Wilson instead of the best QB prospect to come out since Luck. Absolutely terrible management, should have done whatever to not win that game. They probably win the Super Bowl this year with Trevor Lawrence. Believe we did something similar in 2019 which ended up potentially costing us Herbert. D. Brown is great, but we could be a playoff fringe team every single year with Super Bowl aspirations with Herbert. Bringing in Rhule and Teddy was the worst decision this franchise ever made. We should have brought in a 1 year rental coach after Ron and just worked with the current roster, with the intention to hire our long term coach after a 1 year rebuild. We would be in year 4 with Burrow, Tua, or Herbert right now.

24 out of 25. I get sick thinking about it

A host on Lions flagship radio proposes Williams + first for Burns
jb2288 replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
People rioted when we paid Shaq. We also historically pay our all stars: Cam, Luke, Moton, CMC, DJ. I'd be all for paying Burns if we were close, but an above average DE does not move the needle at all for this team, a Lions first could possibly get you the best guard or the 3rd WR in the next draft which does a lot more for this particular team. -

In a heartbeat. Just getting a first at this point would be nice for Burns, adding Williams would at least make it being a late first a little more bearable -
In on every deal? Even the ones that are only day dreams in Scott's head after a 5th of burnetts and half a zoloft?

you're back!

ignore that guy, he just beats the same nonsensical point over and over then will pretend he never said it and start calling you names for some reason lol
-
Wow I forgot about LaFell... he was an okay #2 for a little bit. Gotta be hard playing under 89 lol
-
I don't think its fair to compare any rookie ever to Peyton, Drew, Mahomes or any of the all timers ever... that being said, there are very very many good to great QBs that had awful rookie seasons, good 2nd years, and broke out year 3.

Wanted to keep the company similar. Game is just so different since Cam came in the league. I may add Goff, Purdy, Dak, Darnold, Geno, Kyler and Teddy... will toss Cam in for fun.

probably brian johnson

I was screaming my head off at the TV when this happened. I'd ship Miles for a 7th at this point, he does more harm than good. Just terrible
-
how and what could this possibly even mean? I refuse to believe Frank can just forget a player exists

I'm just posting this for comparison and for discussion, nothing else: Bryce: 63.9%, 750 Yards, 5 TD, 4 INT CJ: 60.2%, 1219, 7/0 AR: 59.5%, 577, 3/1 Kenny: 69%, 771, 2/7 T Law: 58.2%, 873, 5/7 Zach: 56.8% , 925, 4/8 Fields: 50.2%, 448, 1/2 Mac: 71%, 1012, 4/4 Herbert: 69.2%, 1195, 9/3 Tua: 60.2%, 593, 6/0 Joe: 66%, 1121, 6/2

yeah i did the math before posting that, if he gets to 2:1 that shows me he's learning QUICK after throwing 1 per game so far. 21 and 11 would be pretty good imo
-
OL absolutely looked better. I think Corbett coming back changes a lot for us. Can truly play the best of the 3 scrub guards and only have 1 extrmemely weak spot on the line.
-
If he gets to 3500 yards with 2:1 TD ratio it’s a good year with this injury riddled roster. That would have me excited for next year
-
I disagree but fair enough. I think your first year in the NFL you’re looking for progress week over week. Now year 2, I agree. I wanna see average to above average everywhere with a breakout year 3.
