Surprise! Wait… Surprise Again! Kon Looks Really Good!
HardcoreHokie replied to TylerDurden's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Second thought: Brandon Miller. Not even close. But LaMelo is also a stud, as is Kon, let’s just enjoy this for now. No need for changes now. Maybe next year. -

So who can we package for Knecht? I’d love to add him to our core, coming off the bench. -
Jesse Minter has strong Harbaugh connections (both John and Jim). He was a Ravens assistant for a while. And DC at Michigan when they won the NC. His father, Rick Minter (currently on Harbaugh’s Chargers staff) is highly respected. The Ravens know Jesse pretty well.

Minter has strong Harbaugh (both) connections. Both he and his father.

Need Melo to play full minutes. Folks on here give him crap (understood) but he’s a gamechanger when healthy and on the court. Not a bad game. -
Ben Johnson was HORRIBLE in the 2nd half. The previous drive they had 1st and goal from the 5 and came away with nothing. Run on 1st, 2nd, 3rd…for 4 yards. Then forced to throw. HORRIBLE. When Caleb threw that Hail Mary I thought he saved the criticism from Johnson. But the final drive was just as bad. You can’t let your young gunslinger QB throw that deep pass when you only need a few yards.
-
They needed like 5-8 yards to kick the game winning FG. Throwing the ball deep like that was unnecessary and reckless. The TE was open for that. I put it on the HC and QB.

Both teams moved to L.A. years ago. I hope you’re making a joke that I just don’t quite understand. And also attendance…

I just had a panic attack, what year is this for real y’all? I think I might have time travelled on accident and it’s haunting me.

And actually BEAT in the regular season.

Dave Canales is not an NFL coach and won’t be in a year or two. -
Adding to the list of things Bryce can’t do: QB sneak Hail Mary Line up under center (only shotgun) See over the offensive line Talk to the media Energize his fans Motivate his teammates Instill confidence in his coach. He’s the opposite of Baker Mayfield and we let Baker Mayfield go…to see him succeed elsewhere. BY9 is not a project we need to continue to invest in.

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
HardcoreHokie replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Contracts aside, would anyone seriously take Bryce over Kirk Cousins (backup) for the next couple of years? -
Seriously, line Derrick Brown up at fullback and have him shotput Bryce 3 yards over the line for the 1st down. It could be a thing.
-
Steelers just ran the sneak twice with two TE’s in their own territory early in the 2nd quarter. Where’s the creativity from the Panthers? Give it to someone besides Bryce.

When you switch from Creamsickle to Pewter (and then back)...you know you're killing it in the fashion world.

According to the Committee Chairman, losing a conference championship has zero effect on rankings. If you’re Alabama. But not if you’re JMU or Tulane of course. CFP Rules: “Things don’t matter except when they do. Also, see Appendix A) Notre Dame rules.”
-
Then why not just use the Top-12 CFB Final Rankings as the official determining factor? Giving Notre Dame that advantage/guarantee makes no sense for anyone. Things are going to change alot this off-season.
-
"For the 2024-2025 College Football Playoff (CFP) season, Notre Dame, as a football independent, earned a maximum payout of $20 million, keeping the entire amount because they don't share with a conference. This total comes from $4M for qualifying, $4M for the Quarterfinal, $6M for the Semifinals, and $6M for reaching the National Championship game." They don't have to play by the rules of everyone else. And now they will be automatic if Top-12. Even the OSU's, Bama's, Georgia's, Texas' of the world should be fighting them/this.
-
Now Notre Dame's AD came out and publicly chastised the ACC for supporting Miami (ACC) over ND (Independent). Sounds like they may threaten legal action. Lol, can't make this crap up. Wilbon just lost his mind on ND and so is everyone else today.
