  1. First thing. I am a fan of American sports and entertainment in general. But there are few things as underwhelming and cringe as the stadium chants and stadium culture. Specially being used to the British style and banter. I recommend watching it on YouTube.
  2. Could it not be the player? Aren't teams constantly in contact with them? Or they can only be in contact at the end of the draft?
  3. Wouldn't surprise me if Marshall ends up having the most TD by any WR on the team.
  4. You got a good point, nice analysis. https://www.panthers.com/news/2021-draft-day-3-transcripts (well copy that quote went really well on the phone. Bah.....)
  5. Has this been posted? Guess someone bet money on Panthers getting a QB and lost... https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-power-rankings-bears-49ers-on-the-rise-after-2021-draft Saw it on Facebook and then I googled and added a few others.
  6. Really! Wow. That's clueless. Maybe they confuse him with Walter, who from time to time seems to have no clue about teams needs. Charlie always do good. Him and Eval Silva is solid. Also glad Josh Norris has a good record. He seem to always be talking about the Panthers. Maybe he is a fan.
  7. To give you credit, few wanted the Panthers to take a WR in the second. But they did and it seems like they planned to do it all along if the value was there.
  8. So I spent way to much time looking at the WR position, so well, the work is done. Might as well post it. I know Darby is missing, but did not catch any film on him. And this list is without seeing senior bowl, so that would probably have changed a few things. Now Im going to sleep, will watch the first round tomorrow with my twin. Then day 2 on saturday morning, and when day 3 starts I have catched up all of you an will visit the forum again. Happy draft day edit: (bold and underlined is tiers just to give some guidance. 9. Saw news reports a few days ago saying that Jacksonville have already handed out their playbook to Lawrence...
  10. 33th pick? So we would have the number 1 pick aswell. And the first in every round. What an awesome trade. 5d chess on a quantum computer type of move.
  11. Just messing with you. Your first option of course. I am perfectly fine with giving Darnold a chance. Earlier this draft season I went out and said that I preferred a LT, Sewell, above a QB that I was unsure of. Now that situation have occoured, Slater of Sewell should be there. Thats a win-win.
  12. In this scenario, who would be our Aaron Rodgers, the draft pick or the so-far-bust Sam Darnold? Given up a second rounder next year who could have helped the draft pick....
  13. the Huddle is always open for new threads if you dont like what the coaching staff is doing...
  14. Could be worse, we could have traded for Joe Burrow... Am I doing it right?
  15. Just to be clear, I am not saying Darnold is good or better than Flacco. I just don“t think Mims is as good as the hype was on this forum in last years draft season.
  16. Robbie and DJ will like this. Any analysis why he throws so many interceptions and why his completions are so low?
  17. Mims who amazed a 46% catching rate when playing with Flacco... Nah. If Mims is one of the best weapons, then you are in trouble.
  18. Like we did with Cam Newton. Quickly. Can somebody create a poll, when will we cut Teddy. (if Darnold starts bad, and Teddy is still on the team, media will start talking about, should they start Teddy. This scenario will Panthers of course avoid, by cutting Teddy).
  19. The amount of interception along with his poor completion percentage concerns me. Completion % can be fixed with a better scheme, example, Cam in 2018 and 2020 at Patriots. Also, Darnold will have CMC for some easy completions and help moving the chain so that do not concern me that much. The interceptions does. Some say he tries to much and push the ball downfield because he have no playmakers. But was that also the case in college?
  20. If they grade his throws and exclude his run after first read. It does not. Thats why I want the description. Or did I read it wrong. Is it that he throws 90% aftrr his recond read?
  21. First thing. I like Fields. I think he shows promise. What does this really show? Could be. First read, no, ok go check down and not going through all the reads. Or even start running. Would be more interesting if it was after second or third read. And what if the QB starts running.. This does not really say anything with context and more statistics. Do they have a more detailed description of what this is suppose to mean?
