Yup Giants beat us without Engram, Barkley, Toney, Golladay, and one of the other WRs, and like 3/5ths of their opening day OL. This will be easy work for the Bucs. Jeff Nixon will make sure of it.

100% Scot. I had also thought about including the comments Zylstra made in his presser yesterday when asked about what was wrong with the offense. At one point, when asked directly about why we can't get anything going deep downfield, he specifically stated that their offense is structured to attack underneath, get the ball out quickly to their playmakers and let them make something happen after the catch, run RPOs, etc, and once we get all of that going, it will open up everything else. While in theory that sounds great, it is exactly what is wrong with our offense and is the same exact garbage that we were running that got Brady fired. The issue is, those things "never get going," but we still end up running it, even when we shouldn't - like throwing 2 yard drags on 3rd and 10 or 4th and 10. This staff just doesn't get it, AT ALL. Teams know that's what we're doing and they take it away and it's like the staff has no counter or adjustment, ever, so we just keep running the same ineffective bullshit and nothing changes. And Cam's response does sound like he doesn't want to throw anyone else under the bus. The more I hear, the more dysfunctional and broken this whole team seems to be under this staff. It is crazy that they're still here, all things considered. There's no way he still had the locker room's ear at this point. The players all know the poo they're stuck in right now.

This right here is why Tepper needs to end this clown show, TODAY. I have watched almost every post game presser and he has never once hesitated to say, "I can't comment on that until I watch the tape," except when it comes to Cam. Sheena also asked Cam directly yesterday after the game his thoughts about Rhule's comments and essentially throwing him under the bus, and Cam replied that he wasn't going to make any comment up there out of emotion following a tough loss because no good could come of it. He owned his mistakes, as usual, and moved on. And now you have Fatt Fhule coming back the day after, as if it was some noble gesture, admitting he was 100% wrong on blaming Cam for that play yesterday. It was a horrible fuging call to begin with, but Fhule didn't want to blame his high school sweetheart for making it in the first place, so he blamed Cam. When he explained it yesterday, I felt like the explanation was bullshit because he said we only had the bubble in there if there was a blitzer, but the blitzer was picked up so it shouldn't have been thrown - newsflash! I watched the game yesterday, and I'm not a coach, and can tell you more often than not, the "blitzer" wasn't picked up. Rhule is a fuging joke. And when you constantly throw your leaders under the bus only to come back and say after watching it you were wrong, I can't possibly imagine how you hold any fuging weight in the locker room. The damage was done with the first ill-informed dumbass fuging statement, where he should have kept his fuging mouth shut and deferred to comment until he could look at the play - which is his usual M.O. I just can't believe this guy is still here and how fuging dysfunctional this team is right now. He is a joke and he has to fuging go. Him and all his merry band of college slapdicks.

I honestly don't think that matters. This team would be better off coaching themselves in all honesty. I like Phil Snow, but if it means getting Fatt Fhule out of here, then idgaf what it costs in regards to the existing coaching staff.

Was gonna post a similar thread last night, but I didn't want to waste anymore energy towards this sorry ass team. But, OP is right. It's the difference between mentally tough, well-coached teams and teams that are coached by unprepared, collegiate hacks. It was getting dark foe the Saints early this year after we beat them, and as I was watching that game last night I kept wanting to pose the question to the Huddle, "Ask yourself. Honestly. Does THAT team have more talent than this one?" My answer, as objectively as I can surmise, is a resounding NO. And yet, we've hardly been competitive the last few weeks. We have a coach refusing to accept responsibility for his shitty decisions and his shitty idea of what offense should be. Then you look at them, and despite going through 3 different QBs this year themselves, I haven't caught one clip of him throwing any of them under the bus. Rhule does it to Cam every week now. It really does just feel hopeless. Like, more hopeless and impossible than it ever has before. As I pointed out multiple times in threads yesterday, we've now seen 3 QBs who have excelled at various points in their careers, regress to career worst performances in this offense, but it's the QBs fault? I have kept watching in part to be able to discern what's wrong and to try and analyze what's going on, but I don't think I can anymore. Seeing the same repeated failures and inexplicable idiocy, his refusal to play young players, his refusal to play the better options, and his arrogance have just been so off-putting that I don't think I'm watching another game he coaches. I dont know what Tepper is waiting on, but I suggest he doesn't wait much longer... this dude isn't setting a culture, he is ruining one.

Yup, but

That's what's so crazy about it... and most of the ST guys usually screw around in practice and after they get their reps in try doing the thing story usually don't (kickers punting, and punters kicking, etc.). It's absolutely bonkers that Edwards didn't feel "comfortable" enough to do the kickoffs of kicks, per Rhule... but Zylstra somehow did? I would cut Edwards immediately. That is fuging ridiculous.

Go back and watch his games against Houston and Seattle last year. He still has the arm. The defenses are crowding the box, not because of his arm, but because they know we don't have time to throw. They were doing the same thing against Darnold. I know Cam isn't what he was since the injury, but he is still plenty good enough. Counting his ability as a runner, and with these receivers, if he had any semblance of an OL and good coaches, then yes, I absolutely stand by my assertion that he could still be a Top 15 QB. It wouldn't be hard. The coaches and OL are just that bad.
-
Cam isn't what he used to be but he's still the most talented QB we have on the roster. Darnold did put up these stats and worse... he played an entire game without gaining a single first down. And as many have said, now that we've seen this offense with 3 different guys who have played in other systems and in other organizations, and all 3 have regressed, it's clear the excuses are valid. No QB can excel under this staff with this line. Period.
-
This. He's still a playoff-caliber, winning QB. If the right things are in place, I still believe he is a Top 15 QB in the league. But, as you said, this is a combination of horrible coaching, a pop warner playbook, and the worst OL we have ever had. Every QB we've had under this staff has regressed to career worst days outside of PJ, and thats because he has only had 2 career starts. It's clearly a problem that has nothing to do with the individual QBs themselves.
-
Former league MVP getting the poo kicked out of him for this lame ass, clueless fuging coaching staff. And for WHAT???? We have nothing to play for besides better draft position and Cam doesn't deserve this treatment. The offense is remedial. There are no setups, no guesswork, no mystery, no creativity. This is straight caveman, 1940s football. I've seen more offensive creativity in Army/Navy games... at the very least, better execution. The offensive calls suck. The offensive line may be the worst we've ever fielded, and even worse, the coaches have no fuging idea how to adjust or scheme around it, so the avalanche just gains more mass and momentum with each play. This is Fat Fhule's mess... let him wallow in it with his poo players and decisions. Cam doesn't deserve this. Tepper re-sign him for next year regardless of what else happens, and being a new staff next season. What else do you need to see?

They're gonna get Cam hurt. The Bills are literally timing the snap with safeties. This is ridiculous. -

They are 5 yards behind the LOS .1 secs after the snap every fuging play. Every play is a pressure or deflection. -

God this offense is so hard to watch, man. It's so bad. Like watching someone maniacally slam their head into a brick wall until there is nothing left but a fleshy pulp involuntarily and rhythmically still squishing back and forth into nothingness. -

I have long hated him since SB50. If I heard he kicked the bucket tomorrow, I would probably throw a party. He's an absolute piece of poo that hates our franchise. But, the NFL ain't doing poo to him. He works their biggest games for a reason. He is one of their yes men and one of the POS refs they trust to properly influence games when they want a desired outcome.
