Again, I would've liked Todman but as predicted, the staff went with their guy. Disappointing, because Todman had more speed to burn than any other back we have, but all of them were good. Oh well...

Not saying he won't, but knowing our staff, I wouldn't be surprised if they keep him, Fozzy, and Wegher, or Fozzy gets cut (based off of preseason performance vs the other two), unless they're able to secure another receiver they like. With them cutting Bersin AND Lucas it means a spot opened up somewhere else for the time being.

We need help, but do you want another Cotchery or bring in a young guy who can get open with tons of potential?

I have my reasons. Imo, he is like Cotchery redux. He has put up solid numbers throughout his career, but the best of them were when he was surrounded by talent in a pass-heavy system. He won't be that guy here. Remember everyone creaming their pants over Cotchery because of the numbers he put up in Pittsburgh? Same deal...

Yeah, in my projected cuts at RB, I had Fozzy the odd man out for the reasons Jeremy listed above. He just looked the most average and unimpressive of the group, and Todman's speed/quickness makes Fozzy fairly expendable, as that was his role. That being said, I have no ties to any player at the position really. I wouldn't be broke up with any decision they made there, but I feel the best group is Stew, CAP, Todman, Wegher. I think Rivera's attachment to Fozzy will make their decision very difficult though.
