  1. Regardless of what I felt about him before we drafted him, once he was the choice, I bought in and wanted to believe. I even bought into the mincamp and preseason hype and highlights the team shared. What I'm saying now is based off of evidence. Everyone blamed the receivers and as they stated today, Thielen is literally the best slot receiver in the league right now... so, you can't have it both ways. I get it, he's a rookie, but some poo he is lacking is just expected of an NFL QB at baseline, rookie or not. You can attribute my issues with him to whatever you want, but at the end of the day, it doesn't make it any less true. What he has shown even in optimal situations sprinkled throughout 6 weeks does not look like a franchise QB. We can hope that he is, but at the end of the day, it will be what it is... and it doesn't look good. It's better to acknowledge a mistake early and fix it then to close your eyes and keep pretending it's not a mistake in the first place. He deserves the rest of the season, but I just don't see him becoming much more than he is because of his limitations he has demonstrated over and over again.
  2. "Nicole Tepper isn't just a pretty face. She also has a nice ass."
  3. "Panthers learn to lean on David Tepper's gloriously large balls during tough stretch."
  4. "Despite tough loss to NFL's best offense, Panthers have cool uniforms."
  5. "Maestro still ready to direct his orchestra"
  6. But it is. You don't need advanced metrics or all 22 access to see that he wasn't worthy of the #1 pick. Period. Anything else is excuses. We have 6 weeks of football as a sample size. He is extremely limited, even when considering all of the other factors at play. I talk poo but have held out hope he would show something of promise - objectively, whether you choose to believe it or not. He has not given me anything to feel hopeful about. The things he is doing and has flashed on are literally things I would expect from a backup-level NFL QB.
  7. "Waaaah waaaah! The mod doesn't think Bryce Young is a good QB like I do! Waaaah!"
  8. Imagine a world where your DBs can generate as many passing TDs as your #1 overall pick QB.
  9. I never thought I'd see a QB who could replicate the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense via the passing game.
  10. He'll need two more quarters and 30 more throws. But relax, it's the receivers'/coaches'/o-line's fault.
  11. I told some friends back when we had Teddy thatbhe was by far the most frustrating QB to watch that we had ever had... I now amend that. Teddy was. But at least Teddy would occasionally, maybe even twice a game, try a deep throw that was CLOSE. This offense is fuging hopeless.
  12. You know poo has gone to hell when your fuging punter is getting personal foul penalties.
  13. Or maybe we can pass 5 yard hitches all the way to the superbowl. Apparently that's what our front office and coaching staff thought we would do. Which is more asinine?
  14. Lol when they get their hands on Bryce it looks like child abuse.
  15. Arm strength is subjective. Do I think he can throw 40 yards in the air? Yes. Do I think he can throw it 40 yards in the air, with the proper trajectory, velocity, and touch to complete a pass against NFL opposing defenses? Probably not. So that would be a no. Like i said, show me an "over the top" throw he's been anywhere close on through 6 weeks of NFL football. It doesn't exist. For a #1 overall pick to not have one of those throws to this point is not promising.
  16. Show me a good deep throw he's made over 20 yards through 6 weeks of NFL regular season football.
  17. Hey, do you guys remember that time we signed Justin Houston? Whatever happened to him?
  18. Sorry, Mr. Young. Didn't realize "pretty damn well" was the bar for #1 picks now in week 6.
  19. Bryce cannot throw over the top. Period. Even tried to fool them by audibling to the same formation he ran the screen out of and then throw deep... yeah, I have no hope for him being the guy. This is a fuging pedestrian ass offense and is boring as hell to watch, and I imagine be a part of if your name is anything other than Adam Thielen.
  20. Tbh, outside of a few solid hits in run support, the only thing Donte has ever excelled at was giving up big plays. His picks have almost always been being in the right place at the right time on bad throws rather than some instinctual/good play on his part. It's crazy professional talent evaluators decided to pay him over Gilmore for multiple years of his bullshit, because he's a "leader." fuging garbage.
  21. It's maddening. And this poo has been happening across multiple coaches/staffs now. Of course, politics/money always play a part in decisions, but it shouldn't when the answer is that obvious... just too much ego and pride involved. I recall Cam talking with Lou Young recently on his YouTube show, and he even said Lou was probably the most talented CB we had on that 2015 roster, but that he never got reps. It happens all the time on every team, in every sport, but it does seem to happen a lot more here, for a lot longer before the decision makers admit their mistakes.
