  1. To be fair, Bryce is playing better with this bootleg scheme, but him missing the easiest of throws has got us down 8 points.
  2. To be subpar in almost every athletic measure AND you don’t know how to slide, nor can you learn how to? fuging embarrassing.
  3. I’m not understanding why DJ is out there over Princely at all.
  4. Ahhh Drake Maye, what could’ve been. but we blew our load a year early to acquire a midget with the arm strength of Stephen Hawking.
  5. His first down miss killed the drive, just like the pass to the facemask killed the one before that. Both drives they tried to get some of the yardage back with a run after and the Pats see it like clockwork. The first time it happened, it forced us to punt which led to a return TD. Then this drive, Bryce can’t even complete a wide open pass to Tet to salvage some points to end the drive, and now they’re sore running to the end zone after a net 20 yard punt. Bryce is the common denominator. When you can’t depend on your QB to make the basic throws, how could you ever expect to have any consistent drives? It feels like we’re incredibly lucky if we score and had to pass now.
  6. It seems like Rozeboom is on his back or stomach more than he is on his feet.
  7. Boooooa, ST is straight ASS today. and why did we not attempt a FG there?
  8. Credit where credit is due… that fake dive to pitch was a really good call.
  9. Again, it’s like everyone else has to compensate for the shortcomings of our franchise QB. Crazy.
  10. Also have to know the officiating is going to be hell for us vs the Cowboys.
  11. Hey, that’s a cool clip! maybe check out Jake Delhomme, who also is on Panthers payroll (and happened to play the same position as Bryce at a highly competitive level) and see what he had to say about yesterday’s game on the post-game radio show. He literally said “not trying to be a debbie downer” but, said that Bryce and the offense left a ton of plays out there on the field and a lot to be desired. He focused on the same shortcomings that most objective observers (of our QB position) have been stating ad nauseam. He wasn’t overly celebratory or doing any of the glazing that Al and most of the paid endorsers are doing. Most would feel Jake’s tone and message was quite negative, but in reality, it’s just the truth.
  12. I never thought I’d watch someone who made Teddy Bridgewater look like Brett Favre.
  13. 5.3 YPA. Ready for Bryce to catch a bout of Tommy Jone. But you need to be able to create enough torque in your throws to summon Tommy Jone, so we’re out of luck.
  14. That’s what makes me fuging hate Gettleman. Generational talent in Cam, and that’s an understatement, and he had him protected with converted defensive linemen, NAIA standouts, career journeymen who spent most of their time on practice squads, and then traded away his greatest weapon, gave him guys who run slower than most fan’s walk and told him to figure it out. What a fuging waste.
  15. This. For bad teams, every year the draft presents the sexy possibility of finding the next great franchise QB and turning your fortunes around completely. And then ego also gets involved, such as with Bryce. Teams trade up to get in front of other teams to take their guy and show how they outsmarted all the other teams and got THE premiere guy at the premiere position. And every year, bad teams have gotten increasingly desperate to make someone into that guy for them, even if that player isn’t ready.
  16. Not angry at all. Happy we won. Loved how physical and aggressive our defense played.
  17. I honestly wish I had just one person in my life that ever believed in me with such certain delusion as the crowd who has enabled Bryce Young to hornswoggle a starting QB spot in the NFL, and then keep him in that role for 2 more years than he deserved.
  18. Brother, I think it is intentionally obtuse to think this offense isn’t inherently limited in scheme because of Bryce’s limitations. The All 22 isn’t going to show us what plays are off the table before the game even begins, and that’s the problem. To think a team is going to win like this every week in the year of our Lord 2025, is asinine. Look at a team like Philly. They are physical, run heavy, and also control the clock via the LOS and run game, but Hurts is a weapon defenses have to respect. He is capable of consistently making plays on his own and utilizing his supporting cast to the fullest. Bryce is incapable of that. If a team stops our run game, we are losing 9 out of 10 times. To pretend that win is a credit to Bryce is disingenuous. It just further cements that we have to win ugly with Bryce because we can’t win pretty with Bryce. And we can say Tet should’ve had a TD on that deep throw because it hit his hands, but name any of the Top 15 QBs or so in the league, maybe even Top 20, and they throw that same pass, Tet is catching it. We have to dissect ball placement, the definition of a drop vs a bad pass, “hidden yards,” and whose fault was a drop way more than any other time in our history as a franchise, and it’s not coincidence. Prime Cam out there today? Hell, Cam post-2017 out there today… he would’ve gave us an additional 17 points minimum. Saying we didn’t have to pass is also facetious… plenty of teams pass in these type of games. We don’t pass because our coaches want to limit his mistakes, because he is so prone to make them. If he was an efficient passer, it would be used as a weapon and another prong in our attack. Instead, it is obvious through play calls and approach, they don’t trust Bryce and that requires your defense, run game, and special teams to be damn near flawless. Also, imagine being a guy like Renfrow or Tet. We weren’t up 30+ points all game. It was still 10-0 at halftime. There were plenty of passes to be made, and we didn’t want to chance it. A mark of a franchise QB is that they make everyone around them better. They elevate the play around them. Is Tet’s play elevated? Look at what he does with the ball in his hands. Problem is, we have trouble getting the ball in his hands. Same for Renfrow. I’ve maintained Tremble is a playmaker. We can’t get the ball in his hands. Same for JT. XL’s struggles are in large part due to limitations in the scheme. Can’t take the top off a defense if you don’t have opportunities to do so. It’s like buying two or three Ferraris and then stripping the top 6 gears out of them. It all comes down to we don’t win because of Bryce, we win in spite of Bryce. JStew literally just got on the postgame show and said something along the lines of we didn’t win with/because of Bryce. Then the other guy gets on and starts trying to hype the game manager angle for Bryce. This guy is a #1 overall pick. The defenses of his limitations are tiresome and old. Even in a win, it is packed full of reminders of how perfect everyone has to play to win with him at QB. Again, I ask, if the defense is having a bad day or the running game is shut down early, then what? We’ve seen what happens… and so yes, I enjoy the win, but nothing has changed. Bryce hasn’t done anything to disprove the idea that if we have to trust him to win, we will lose. This game was an aberration, not the norm. So again, what happens next week? And the week after?
