If you’re going to beat a good team you will need 35+ points. This isn’t an enigma, the NFL has made it this way. The fact you still have the worst oline in the NFL while drafting talent with a third rounder just to sit him is baffling.

Eh, it’s not what they do to address the oline that will matter. It’s competency…huge difference. No trophies for trying. Every effort so far has proved complete incompetence which is more concerning that completely ignoring the issue.

I believe that line was ranked 23. This line is literally competing for the worst in the league. It could possibly be the worst in franchise history. That is the line in general though, not individual players.

Ranking and stat wise….those days are not worse, believe it or not lol. Yes we’re that bad.

Won’t matter. The Panthers will not beat a legit team with 31st ranked oline. We’ll get some wins here and there but will not beat a solid team. Hopefully Sam stays healthy.

While getting shat on I continued to elaborate why it is not possible to go to the postseason with even a slightly below average oline. It just hasn’t happened in NFL history and it isn’t going to happen now. Everyone needs to adjust their expectations, it WILL not happen, it has only happened twice since 2000, with P Manning and E Manning, it just won’t happen. All we can hope is Sam (or any qb) can stay healthy until this franchise gets it poo together and hires some help, because they’re clearly not capable at address the line.

Hmmm let’s see our ‘franchise’ qbs, Cam TB and now Sam have been destroyed/injured/rattled by the oline building incompetence. When will it matter? This game is fuging over.

As a competitor I think all the greats want things to be called right. I get this from Olsen as well. Romo calls it, which is why he’s may fav announcer…even if it means your team gets hosed a blatantly bad play call should piss of any true competitor no matter what. Separates the the good and awful announcers imo

It’s true, but I’ve been told it takes 3-4 years to build an oline…and by oline I mean have at least one other serviceable player than Moton. On the flip side it’s nice knowing that oline and kicker seem to be the only thing keeping us from the playoffs.

This team does have great resiliency, I am hoping they keep it up after half time, they’ll have to. The offense as Darnold is surprising me for sure. And I can’t help wonder if we’d be up 7 had the refs be able to earn their 4 months of work a millions and call an obvious fumble correctly. Still…the oline is absolutely fuging this team an all accounts.
