I think what is happening here is he got his raise, sees this team probably isnt doing jack poo this year and his hometown team has a tremulous opportunity that just opened up for him. He knows the vikes are for real this year and more importantly last but not least it seems his wife is in favor of this move.

He would be a fool not to draft one. This should be a good class and it restarts his clock. Plus what vet free agent do you think is going to move the needle? I think if Bryce stumbles this year they clear out the qb room and let DC and Dan completely start over. Thus starting their clocks within the org. I guess the big question is, what is their threshold or expectations that they have to see from BY to commit to him moving forward? And is that in the form of an ext or simply picking up his 5th?
