  1. the odds of making the team are akin to winning the lottery, they are going to take the money 10 times out of 10
  2. Our defense was sick and we had a qb that went supernova. Was a thing of beauty to watch in real time
  3. This year is all about getting nfl experience, 2026 is when we should be pinning our ears back and making a substantial run with defensive improvement. I think we are still going to be dogshit on defense.
  4. Vashti drops some nuggets every so often Josh Klein used to be plugged in but I think his dude left and then he moved to Europe Ellis used to be good but got neutered when he got credentials But all in all I think Kaye and Person stand out. Kaye has a bit more detailed insight but I think Person pushes back a wee bit more.
  5. I dont trust Tepper in building a nfl franchise but I would in minute give him every penny I owned to invest. Dude has the midas touch
  6. If those stats you are quoting are from PFF then why in the same breath do they have him ranked 20th overall? Look man, not one single rational poster has said that bryce doesnt deserve 2025. He does and we all hope he makes a mega jump because if he doesnt crack top 10 status we are in a world of hurt and I suspect the team simply moves on. Most teams know what they have with qbs drafted in the first round by year 4. There are clear examples up and down the board. The 5th year option is a game changer. If they dont exercise it then whats the point, they will move on or try to upgrade. Sure you can point the Daniel jones experiment but then that proves my point. Simply put a decision has to be made after year 3 about his long term future. And for that with the panthers he has to make a huge leap into the top 10. Thats just how it works man
  7. Bryce had 191 yards 55% completion 1 td 1 pick. That's an amazing performance? Come on people
  8. His size will always limit him. Do t kid yourself
  9. That was a wild ride after training camp that year. Reich had that thousand yard stare, Fitt had to come out trying temper expectations because they knew they were in for it. Then Reich tries to bench him, overridden but alas bryce hurt his ankle at some point. Since there is little media and no fans at camp this year, the preseason games should be pretty telling. I just dont think there is any way DC doesnt get bryce as many game reps as possible to avoid the disaster of last year
  10. lol wut? Stats dont matter now? Got it
  11. Incredible? Jesus H Christ dude, at least take the blinders off last 5 games he averaged roughly 200 yards a game, 62% completion and 1.8 tds a game. Incredible wouldnt be the word I would use
  12. I am in 2 and struggle to keep things straight and find time but 12........holy poo thats impressive
  13. Mike Kaye pushed back against this hard on his podcast and he was there.
  14. 100% We absolutely dont need this distraction going into BY year 3
  15. I didnt know you could find the transcripts thats awesome you can just read the podcast if you wanted. But all in all they both agree that bryce's ceiling is top 10-12. With that said, is that good enough? We obviously paid too much but is a top 10-12 qb best case, that has to have everything around him right good enough for us to give him a new deal? That puts him in the kyler, dak, tua tier. I dont think any of those dudes are putting the team on his back and winning playoff games and if anyone cares McShay show is doing a deep dive on the 2026 qb class. They have done arch and now garret N. They cannot believe how good Garrett is. So if this team flames out we are going to have options at least unlike this past draft
  16. Its a great listen. One guy is "high" on bryce the other plays devils advocate. They both agree that his ceiling is roughly top 12ish in the league and Panthers should be happy with that. The detail they go into is impressive. Nice to hear. And they say what we have been saying, it takes a good oline, a good running game, good wrs and good play calling to get him to top 10-12ish. Not ideal
  17. I guess this goes in this thread. But this is a must listen. 2 dudes from the athletic spend about 20 minutes discussing Young, going over stats and his wrs and key plays. Very nuanced and unbiased. In short, his wrs were garbage, he had some big time throws at times, but his mechanics and physical limitations (size, mechanics etc) will perpetually hold him back. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/podcast/211-the-athletic-football-show/episode-1169/
  18. I believe you are referring to Samir Suleiman, still crazy they just out right fired him but I guess if you disagree with the consensus that puts the cross hairs on you.
  19. If anyone is touting Tremble with his career 85 recs 782 yards 9tds, Horn who has played around 50% of his games, and BC a backup lineman as "hitting in the draft" I think that shows ones lack of understanding of what "hitting in the draft" actually is. And if that is what you come out of the draft with 11 picks then its probably a factual thing to say that this draft wasnt good. Like at all.
