  1. To be a playoff team in the NFL you need more than a serviceable LT. Not saying BC is or isnt but take a look at the playoff teams year in and out and they have above average tackles. Its damn criminal that we are only going to have 3ish games worth of film on BC. But again to me he didnt even look average vs TB and NO. Lots of pressures against bullrushes and his feet got tangled up against speed rushers. If it was me I would just pretend BC was on the team and continue to build from there. He he works out as guard so be it. If not he can be a backup and someone that can fill in for injuries. I wish he would have been starting from game 7or so but it is what it is.
  2. I am not passing on the one of the top 2 Left tackles in this draft because a 25 year old rookie looks "promising" (which is debatable I guess) in a couple of games. And to be perfectly honest I thought he looked totally overwhelmed against TB and NO.
  3. Undersized? Do tell? They are projecting he adds another 20lbs on his 305 lb frame. Kid is legit as a pass blocker and will get better in run.
  4. Gotcha. But on the whole from what I have seen, when its said to be a good class with good top tier talent it really does seem to work out that way and that talent hits. Like the prior few years
  5. His footwork is horrendous when he is getting bullrushed. He also did the patented greg little leg cross a couple of times on a speed rush.
  6. That smells like desperation from the cuck fowler
  7. Not sure of percentage but scroll through the top half of the drafts starting with 2015 and you see very few outright busts. You see a ton of good starters, a couple of all pros and a lot of pro bowl level lineman. On the flip side you see a lot of bad qbs. So yeah high end tackles appear to hit at a way more substantial rate then qbs
  8. ::sigh:: we are not trading back out of the 6 spot just for a 2nd or 3rd. Thats lunacy
  9. Are you saying LT's bust at the same rate as qb's? Your wording is a bit confusing there. Top of the draft tackles are pretty safe bets on the whole
  10. I am not sure why you folks are banging the gilmore drum, the dude hasnt played jack poo since he got here and is hurt again? Why pay money for that?
  11. BC isnt even playing the same sport as Evan or Ikem. They are both head and shoulders above him. Cross is a bit more of a "project" dude to his age and frame. Look at him now at 305 and he is slender. once he gets another 20lbs on him he may be a damn animal combined with his violent playing style. I am not asking for much just one of those 3 I dont care
  12. I like akem, cross or neal in no particular order. We probably will have our pick of 2 of the 3. However if we had our LT already then Green sounds like a damn dream come true. That dude is smart and is crazy aggressive.
  13. How much better is he then the 2nd or 3rd ranked center that you could get 2 rounds later? I honestly dont know but at pick 6 is the range monster tackles come off the board. And I am still not understanding this bullshit that Neal will be a RT and Ikem will be a guard. They were all world at left tackle especially akem.
  14. Based on his athleticism, age and frame I think he skyrockets up draft boards
  15. How can Gilmore command a ton of money?
  16. Their are 3 top end LT, one all world center and one all world versatile lineman. If we want to upgrade we will have choices on top of choices at pick 6
  17. That simply isnt the case for the last 2 years. The tackles taken high so far have been aces. Matt Kalil got injured and yeah Robinson was a bust. But that was close to 10 years ago. Tackles on the whole tend to hold their value at the top of the draft
  18. Giants are sticking with Jones and Mills will be given another look next season since this class doesnt have a talented qb worthy of a top 5 pick.
