They have 3 wins as we speak and no viable method to improve in the off-season. It’s a lock that they will a bottom half team for the next couple of years. Their line sucks, their rbs really suck and the qb is a perpetually hurt 35 year old. Not sure why you are having trouble understanding why they are in a decline as a team. -

They can try to do everything they want to be competitive but they are shackled with no draft picks and no cap room and a roster of a bunch of old players. -

So is evil hurney not even going to address Moore isn’t a pro bowler? -

Ellis' podcast is a must listen. Every week. He and billy give very unbiased takes good and bad about this franchise. In that podcast you are referring they stop short of talking about fitt and catch themselves before they seemingly give up some nuggets on the situation. But yeah their going through this trade is worth the listen alone -

Finally have a chance to dig through this. A few thoughts here. While I appreciate your work I dont think it makes sense simply to say a trade is worth it based on pro bowl alone. Seems a bit arbitrary at best. But say we do grade it like you want then as we mentioned Moore is not a pro bowler so that trade flips. Also in your analysis you dont take into account salary/contract structure, value of draft picks to move up/down in draft or how those picks translate. I agree what you put together is at least something to try and be objective about whether we should have or shouldnt have but its not even close to the full picture. And to nitpick even more you could easily argue that the pro bowl is similar to the nba all star where the fans dictate a large deciding factor on who makes it so its a bit subjective as well. I mean Gilmore made the pro bowl last year and didnt even play half the season so its probably not a fair measurement either way. -

Dj Moore hasn't made a pro bowl -
Re burns: Once he is extend his value goes down. The Rams wanted him cheap. I seriously doubt we are getting 2 firsts and a second in the offseason and furthermore why would fitt decide to trade him in the off season? In regards to the moore deal, I said it was worth a debate not the slam dunk that the burns deal was and if it ends up being a top 10 pick i think it blows away moores value then. As a fanbase we tend to overvalue our players. Like Burns, moore is good but he is not a game changer.

The Packers offered a first for moore. The 3 win green bay packers
-
The cap hit can be sustained. And I have no clue what making great trades for great value has to do with tanking. Nobody in the nfl would have blinked an eye trading moore and burns
-
Fitt was here then so he should be able to produce the scouting reports on Fields, Slater, Horn, Parsons and Surtain
-
The cmac and burns trade (and probably the moore one as well) are the first major tangible (non)moves that we can tie to fitt. Its something that we can track as good or bad in regards to him. No matter what happens now he is going to be matched up with not taking that. When the rams tank for the next 3 years he is going to look like an idiot. When the packers have a top 10 pick this year he is going to look like an idiot and there will be no matt rhule to blame. The cmac was a no brainer The moore trade was debatable but he probably should have done it The Burns trade isnt even a debate. The draft capital he could have walked with could have set us up nicely for a true rebuild
-
It was so fuging short sighted turning down those picks for both burns and moore. fug that fat moron
-
we are a clown show with no vision and no plan for the future, we are a 3 ring circus that thinks we have a team that can win year in and year out
-
Then fat boy better receipts

https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/11/9/23448551/2023-quarterback-draft-class-breakdown-bryce-young-cj-stroud-will-levis Somewhat generic write up of the top picks with clips. Gotta say Richardson and Levis have damn howitzers for arms. Richardson in particular. That said I still think AR is going to be our pick.
