I believe it. Bryce had to do very little this game. It pretty much was the perfect Bryce game.

Bryce played well in that he didn’t make any mistakes. He was still unimpressive and you can’t expect the defense to play that well every week. Bryce pretty much didn’t have to do anything special. He still isn’t the long term option. But this game proves if the defense plays well enough we can win with him being a game manager. Doesn’t change my view that we need another QB for competition no matter where we finish in the draft.

Offense is still not good. Defense won this game. Can't rely on that every week. Against a playoff team this team is still getting nutpunched.

Pretty much an example of the type of game we have to play with Bryce as our QB. Excellent defense and an offense that doesn't make mistakes. That said, I have never seen an offense that makes everything look so difficult.

Reminds me of Rhule in 2020 saying that win against Washington was culture building but we dropped from 3rd to 9th. I also blame Rivera for coaching like an idiot and not benching that horrible QB they had earlier.

Tua is 4 inches taller than Bryce. How is he undersized?

Yet you will STILL get people who think Wilks would have been a good coach despite overwhelming proof interim HC success rarely translate into success once becoming the full time HC.

Steve Wilks won us some games but was also the coach during some horrible losses. I’ll never forgive him for the horrible coaching job during the second Bucs games. 14-0 lead and he blew it and didn’t adjust when Brady kept tossing bombs to Mike Evans. So can we STOP bring up Wilks like he was gonna be good. More than likely he would have been one and done. Just like Reich. His type of coaching doesn’t win Super Bowls anymore. He would have been a great coach in the 90s to early 2000s.

The Falcons having a good defense was not on my bingo card this year. I am so used to them having an amazing offense and a meh or bad defense.

I am just amazed the Saints have had a chance to be 2-0 if things just went a little differently. Saints, Falcons and Bucs look way more competent then the Panthers at this point.

Falcons and Tampa look to be the teams to beat. Falcons offense looks good with Robinson at the lead and Penix being a consistent passer. Their defense seems to have improved greatly from last year. Would not be surprised if Tampa and Falcons win double digit games.

Our O-line being mostly healthy last year I hand a feeling a reckoning was happening this year.

As soon as there is no stakes the Processor will win us a few games and ruin our chance at getting a top 5 draft pick. Ya know it is gonna happen.

If you could but Murray’s or prime Wilson’s arm on Young he would be pretty good. Instead the only elite trait he supposedly had was his mind and that is not anywhere close to elite. We literally took a QB with not good physical NFL QB traits who is short all because his mind is elite. It’s baffling.

That is good company to be compared to. People forget he is only 29 so we can easily sign him to a 2-3 year deal if he continues to be ole reliable.

Been a T-Mac fan from day one. Watched all his highlights after Tankathon mocked us to draft him. I quickly became a fan. Kid is already showing veteran traits in his first year.

Not the first time I have seen him do that. In fact during this game I wondered if he did need a running start to throw it far.

Bryce’s weak arm was on full display during that hilarious drive.

It won't be this early in the season if ever. More than likely we will let him play out his final year of his contract and not resign him.

The the commentary kept saying how good he was under pressure. My eyes do indicate he was not good under pressure.

You are right. All the games he won last year had no pressure because he knew we were not going to the playoffs. This game was a chance to go 1-1 and possibly 2-1 if we beat the Falcons next week so the pressure was on.
