  1. I definitely agree with that. I feel like the roster has a little bit fewer holes than it did last season but the holes it does have are glaring and some of the most important pieces.
  2. I'm blaming everyone. That's the thing. So many people on here want to blame everyone but Cam... I dont think this loss was on Cam, but if you critique anything about Cam on here then the poo starts flying.
  3. I agree with that. The only thing is everyone is a first time head coach. They all make mistakes while gaining that experience. The question is do they learn from it. We won't really have any idea on that until the offseason.
  4. It is a rebuilding team though. They werent really expected to be a really good team this year until they went 3-0.
  5. We beat the cardinals pretty handily as well.
  6. I dont disagree with you there nesscesarily but regardless of who takes the blame that is kind of semantics really. It's good to blame someone you want to blame. Everyone is pissed off and frustrated with how this season has went and its always going to be easier to paint the blame on one clear target when there is blame all over the place to be had.
  7. So let me get this straight. Everyone who was flipping out when it happened screaming why didnt Rhule call a run play there, he screwed Cam over etc, now finds out that Rhule did call a run play and Cam optioned out of it and that play is still on Rhule. Huddles gonna huddle
  8. He got a decent amount of snaps the first half of the season. They didnt go well. We are coming to the point in the season where none of that matters and they need to just play all the young guys. I will give you that.
  9. I think there are a lot more huddlers than you realize who think he should be qb next season.
  10. He doesnt normally call the offense though. That's not something many head coaches are responsible for. Not unheard of but not commonplace.
  11. Or he could have just ran it for a yard like the main play was called.
  12. Well we were 3-0 so there was no point then. He had 4 tds in the week 4 loss and then after that he definitely said multiple times they needed more from the QB and they couldnt win with qb play like that. This is looking for drama for dramas sake. Everyone wants to blame Rhule for everything (and he definitely deserves some of it) and Cam is a hometown hero and panthers darling. No matter what anyone says or who's feelings get hurt hes still not the future at the position. Hes the best panthers qb of all time but hes not that on the field now.
  13. Rhule 100% did call him out too. Neither are the answer at qb of the future though so the point is kind of irrelevant.
  14. Holding on to the ball too long with a bad oline, the Bill's sending a lot of CB blitzes and Cam not being as mobile as he used to is a totally different thing than young Cam holding on to the ball too long. It's the same as his throwing late. He used to have the lazer arm to make up for it and now sometimes his shoulder cant quite do it the same so late throws are a bigger problem than they used to be when he could make up for it. All young Cam's biggest strengths were strengths that dont traditionally age well and that's unfortunate.
  15. He did throw Sam under the bus though. In the end none of the qbs on the roster are the long term solution, but if you lump Cam in that generalized statement then half of the huddle flips out. Our current situation is horrible for the qb. Any qb. They have all looked bad for lots of reasons. I still dont think the answer is on the roster.
  16. I'm not sure? I'm not sure what that has to do with this situation either?
  17. Yea I'm not really posting it to blame Cam but Rhule was getting flamed on here when that happened and then everyone was freaking out when Rhule was angry with him on the sidelines. This just shines a little light on that one specific situation that was definitely getting a lot of flack.
  18. He 100% did. He mentioned multiple times how they needed more from the qb play and they couldnt win with play like that.
  19. This was Cam's last shot. There is a reason he was sitting at home eating cereal as he said a few weeks ago.
  20. Yes. I believe everyone constantly called Darnold out on his mistakes. Lol
  21. A zone read run play was called with the option to run that screen and Cam switched to that option. That explains why him and Rhule got into it a little bit on the sidelines after. https://twitter.com/scott_fowler/status/1472685315487850500?s=20
  22. Anyone who says yes is basing it off his past. Not his present or future. To what end would they do that? Hes not our qb of the future with his slowing down and major injury history. He is a stop gap as much as it pains some people to admit it. It's crazy to bring in a new offensive coordinator and system for a stop gap qb.
  23. Yea I thought it had 2 requirements out of the pocket (yes) and past the Los (definitely not).
  24. They have a terrible offensive line and the defensive line is bad against the run. The roster has plenty of holes that will stop you from being consistently good.
  25. That was 6 years ago. Hes not that player and hasnt been in years. He could have been great at that time and not good now. Time and health catches up with everyone. You cant blindly defend a player now because they were great 6 years ago... thanks for giving the literal perfect response to what I said.
