  1. Hey @Loyalty4Life go compare undrafted Kyle Allen's numbers in 13 games with the Panthers to Bryce Young's numbers in 23 games and come back here and tell us again how this place is ready to cut bait way too early. Either you work for the team or you're related to Bryce somehow.
  2. The bar is so low it's comical. The yardage and touchdown output are downright pitiful. Look back to the brief hoopla over Kyle Allen. 13 games 3322 yards 17 touchdowns 16 interceptions 6.8 yards per attempt 62% completion Bryce Young in 23 games. 10 more games than Kyle Allen. 3571 yards 14 touchdowns 16 interceptions 5.5 yards per attempt 59.8 completion One of those guys was undrafted. The other was drafted first overall. Yet still there are people here who rage about how anyone speaking real facts about the limited offense with Bryce Young is an irrational hater rooting for him to fail. It is unfathomable that people can come to such conclusion if they are assessing the situation realistically. Enough is enough.
  3. Oh come on. The entire leadup to the draft was near universal praise of and building up of Bryce Young because he played for Alabama while Stroud and other QB's were knocked for everything from their IQ to their leadership ability to their coachability and on and on. Bryce even showed up to the combine and refused to participate and still got a free pass. It's interesting you go out of your way to trash Dalton but prop up Young. You do know the one game he played last season and the win against the Raiders are 2 of only 3 times we've scored 30 points in 2 years right? Truth is both of them look like backups. Dalton is only marginally better because he's a vet and will attempt some of those throws Bryce won't pull the trigger on. Anything else you are trying to convince yourself of is fantasy.
  4. Were any of them drafted first overall?
  5. Almost got Chuba hurt on two ill advised pass plays late in the game. Unacceptable.
  6. Divisional games are always a crapshoot. But looking at our remaining schedule realistically and the offenses they possess I have a hard time believing 17 points are going to be enough to beat any of them. So realistically maybe we'll squeak one more win out.
  7. The Bears got blown out by the Patriots and Caleb Williams finished with a YPA lower than Bryce Young. 4 yards per attempt lmfao. There is someone actually worse than our QB. Now THAT is something that is worth rejoicing over.
  8. The person above is either trolling or works for the team in some capacity.
  9. That's a good question. I haven't seen anyone saying they want him to fail. Some people might not believe he is ever going to be an average starter let alone a franchise quarterback but that is not rooting for him to fail is it? Is being happy that we are on a 2 game win streak and not losing badly for a change while also acknowledging we have played 2 of the worst teams in the league and Bryce Young has largely looked like a capable backup at best through both games rooting for him to fail? I think we've reached a point in this discourse where disagreements have become fodder for labels of true or false fandom and that's just absurd. Anyone who is here and has been here through all this historic losing is a real fan. We just need to chill a little bit on the labeling of opinions that challenge positivity being labeled as hate. At the end of the day we're all adults here and when we are faced with inconvenient truths we don't like we can't just blanket label that negativity and hate. It's simply a reality that we have to face. If someone does not want that then they are free to create their own community where that is not allowed.
  10. He is making throws any QB could make he finished the game with the lowest yards per pass attempt of any qualified passer in the entire NFL. The entire league. If you want to set the bar lower than anyone else that is perfectly fine but just because the discussion you expect doesn't exist here doesn't mean anyone else is beneath you. It's perfectly fine that other people have standards.
  11. I completely agree the last two wins have shown us despite our circumstances with the roster we absolutely still can compete on both sides of the ball. Everything keeps going back to QB because it's the most consequential position on the field. It's unfortunate that discussions end this way but what are ya gonna do at the end of the day? As of right now we have only scored 30 points 3 times between now and last season and 2 of those were when Dalton played. No matter what happens we have got to introduce new life into this QB room. I assume anyone here should be able to agree with that. In the meantime I'm just happy to win two games in a row.
  12. Glad we can find some common ground. It's nice that there are actually a few teams somehow worse than us for a change. That's my main takeaway from the last 2 games. Now let's just see how ugly things get the rest of the way.
  13. He finished the game with the lowest YPA in the entire national football league and had 126 yards while once again our run game carried the offense. When we face better teams with real offenses we are toast. Yes wins are rare and it's good to get a win but multiple things can be true at once and acknowledging all of this isn't being miserable or negative unless all some people seek is an echo chamber. And if you're seeking an echo chamber for the franchise with the worst record in pro sports well who is really the one with the issue anyway then?
  14. No just stay where we are let the chips fall where they may. We've made our bed just have to roll with it no more trades.
  15. All I'm saying is things will change. It's what we do. When the draft rolls around the what if talk begins.
  16. Bryce Young had 1 single touchdown with 126 passing yards and 5.0 YPA (good for the worst in the entire league amongst all qualified passers). If they don't make a move for any other QB that is enough to ditch the franchise for the foreseeable future.
  17. Most of the people desperate to win this game for the culture will be singing a different tune months from now when we're picking well after the Saints who will assuredly get themselves a stud.
  18. For all the talk of the defense and Evero they got yet another takeaway. Bryce and the offense need to win the damn game already they are gift wrapping it for us.
  19. I agree with your frustration man I want better from the whole staff and roster. I'm just saying big picture this offense is completely pitiful too.
  20. The bar is so subterranean it's basically in outer space now brother.
  21. So fire him? We're still stuck with one of the three statistical worst passers in the entire league.
  22. LOL @ possibly going to overtime 17-17 Perfect summary of how inept the Panthers offense has been for what seems like forever now.
  23. "Bryce Young is playing so much better today if you disagree you are drunk or emotional weeeeeeee" *Bryce throws a terrible high pass behind the line of scrimmage to Hubbard on third down to ice the game*
  24. Bryce really threw behind the line of scrimmage on third down AGAIN this late in the game?
  25. If you don't agree that's fine. Don't accuse others of being emotional when you are leading with it yourself if you are downplaying Bryce Young's putrid passing performance. As of right now Bryce Young is sitting on 5 yards per pass attempt late in the game which is the worst in the league.
