Well they are a developmentally minded staff that has focused on building this roster from the inside out. So I wouldn't expect a splash move to fill any holes coming anytime soon, especially outside of the trenches. Maybe in 2026, but that depends on where Bryce is. If Bryce fails, we are gonna stay in rebuild mode.

I would like Renfrow back, but not for reasons related to right now. I think Renfrow is still getting back to form. I would like to bring him in for what he quite possibly could offer us mid-season and forward. I don’t think he would just plug into AT and call it a day from day 1. The man missed an entire year and some change. Not gonna get back to form in 4 months. I mean D. Watson was damn near top 5 QB, missed time, finally got moved and has been a shell of his self since. I mean the football gods could’ve been at play there but thats the most recent example i can remember while sitting here at work.

I think we wanted AT back until we got past the draft and camp. Wasn't expecting to get what we got in the draft, and prolly wasnt expecting tremayne to look as good as he did to them this off-season.

Meh, i have always been indifferent on the trade if it happened, we got good compensation for a 35 year old possession savvy type WR. Glad we didn't have to eat any of it. I wouldn't say that. I would think us absorbing some of the contract adds to the compensation we're looking to get back. Like if they absorb the full contract we look at more 6th round pick compensation, but if we take some of the contract, we can ask for more.

The trade does not happen unless we are willing to eat some of that contract
