Which QB Best Fits Reichs RPO Style Offense?

It's good to see him on his feet, he got royally screwed -
ESPN’s Matt Miller inside info on Panthers #1 pick

Same. I prefer the expanded playbook Stroud would allow the staff to install. Like Young better be a top 5 QB if you're going to give up QB sneaks and pretty much all chance of convincing a defense to bite on under center play action -

I did, and Texas screwed up 2 sacks and dropped at least 1 pick as well. These things happen every game to every team so not really seeing the point of your defense

What does the under center stuff have to do with this discussion? We already had a thread highlighting CJ had 120 something snaps under center and Bryce had 4. Bryce will probably not be under center unless it's an obvious short yardage handoff, I don't think he'll be very good at play action against NFL defenses -
That's ESPN's own rating system which means nothing to me. The actual numbers aren't good, and the tape also doesn't look good in those games

Yeah all that scrambling and wearing out your O-line just to complete a 15 yard pass or whatever. That's not gonna work at the NFL level. When he actually faced real NFL level pressure he wasn't very good. Texas- C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR 27/39 213 5.5 1 0 75.9 Georgia 2022 C C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR 35/57 369 6.5 1 2 82.3

Also why are people assuming RPO involves the QB running? It's usually a hand off/one read pass option -

Obviously Stroud would be better running RPO's -
We have 6 draft picks, that's pretty standard

Have we ever had room to sign 20 UDFA's? They must like their core 53 quite a bit

My worry is a play action under center keeper, he rolls out and

That's my backup

David Newton: Panthers leaning toward Bryce Young
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I need to hear what Bryce Youngs Ceiling is, because it seems like "Crafty game manager that can't play under center and shouldn't run the ball" A more adventurous Teddy B but smaller -
Sanders basically mirrors TJ Watt on Ras, but got experience in the middle this past year. Scary. I like them both, either one at 39 would be amazing and would start day 1
-
I really can't see why anyone would love his arm talent. I'm watching a bunch of tape right now and he just seems like a game manager to me. Like a Teddy B who can/will/needs to scramble to find a throw. CJ can carve people up from anywhere, just seems like it would translate to the NFL better to me
-
If we were still 4-3 Campbell would be perfect to step in as the MLB, in the 3-4 Sanders is more versatile as an edge rusher/ILB combo. Imagine swapping Sanders and Luvu back and forth from OLB/ILB depending on the down. Both could stay on the field and drive OC/Qb's crazy
-
Ok, went through both guys vs Georgia (Both Bama games). CJ>Bryce
-
I've been planning on watching some Bryce stuff tonight and tmrw. Curious to know what his consensus best game was. I'll definitely watch the Georgia game since that's the closest you can get to comparing the two back to back even though GA had a lot of turnover between seasons
-
Mostly the pocket movement stuff that he didn't really show before, accuracy while throwing to his left when rolling out, perhaps going through full reads but theres enough footage showing him being able to scan the field for me to be comfortable he can do it
-
Stroud's last game he did what everyone wanted to see him do so not much to it. If he looks close to that week in and week out that's a franchise qb
-
That looks crazy in slo mo. Time stamped

This was the actual play he sprained the shoulder on
