  1. I couldn't find this isolated so time stamped. OL dude just shoves him to a td lol.
  2. I'm assuming it's because QB's are usually the only ones getting slammed to the ground while standing still, basically whiplashing the back of their heads on the turf. Every position gets rocked a different way. Linemen head on, receivers usually get that Antonio Brown thing, LB's might lower their head and do the Luke thing. They need at least 4-5 different versions depending on where the player is most likely to get that blunt trauma
  3. Neither Goff or Mayfield started their rookie years, just sayin. Plenty of other top 10 picks that are better than them didn't play immediately. Who knows how the new staff/playbook will affect how comfortable they are with either the rookie or Dalton
  4. I'm basically not getting involved in debate with anyone that has a future QB username or avatar at this point. Back and forth mind numbing debate at least
  5. I think we could move back 10 spots or so if the price is right. We don't need a bunch of late rounders. I'm not seeing anyone with that capital to get 2 second rounders as is but I wouldn't be opposed to trading back and then trading back up
  6. Yeah, i'd say pick 10-50 are all about equal talent wise. When we were stuck at 9 it as pretty depressing doing mock drafts. I know it's good to go bpa over need but this feels like a combination of the two at 39. No can't miss guy is falling that far so just take the best combo of talent and opportunity to contribute immediately. I still like the ILB's/CB's that may be there. D-line guys I still don't have a feel for but could happen. I know everyone still wants TE but I think there's enough depth to wait on that, and then we'll still have a 5-6 TE camp battle
  7. I think it means that you don't have to reach for a Downs or Hyatt at 39. I like both in college but BPA might be a more impactful player that's also more of a need. They probably already have a list of wr's coming out next year for when the QB has a year of experience under their belt. I like the idea of mostly vets this year. TMJ and Shi still need actual NFL coaching after a couple years of the last staff, same with Barno and Brandon Smith on the d side.
  8. He can contribute more as a returner than Andre roberts or Erickson did under the last staff. Those guys were useless as receiver depth. Thomas Brown was a returner so I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted something that could work better for him and Tabor equally. Shi probably shouldn't be back there except injury emergencies, especially punts
  9. Also Shenault was teammates with Chark in Jacksonville.
  10. He was making Henderson look extra bad that Falcons game, 22.3 yards per catch
  11. Shi Smith is on notice, probably comes down to a kr/pr situation. Anyone else we got in FA return? I thought maybe I heard about one of the db's
  12. What was richardsons score? Haven't seen a number
  13. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10067920-nfl-coach-bryce-youngs-arm-unimpressive-compared-to-richardson-stroud-levis One NFL quarterbacks coach believes Bryce Young made the right call by not throwing at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday. Speaking to The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, the coach said Young's arm strength would've been "unimpressive" compared to other top quarterbacks Anthony Richardson, C.J. Stroud and Will Levis. The coach wasn't dismissive of Young's talent, but he said the things that make him special "don't show up in routes on air" because he's "not going off-platform or processing anything out there." Richardson was the clear winner among the quarterbacks at the combine. He turned in arguably the greatest mix of performance and athletic traits in the past 20 years of the event.
  14. With Bryce, not much actual coaching to do, more playbook stuff. And the playbook will be limited. When it works great, certain teams will have the defense to shut him down and theres really not too many options to counter. Anthony, you have to respect the run and the deep ball every snap, if he can read defenses and improve his accuracy he's the next Allen. I can see why a coach would be higher on him as something to mold
  15. He's def not throwing that PJ to DJ touchdown pass from last year. More like scrambling around for 20 yard passes. NFL safeties will be waiting on anything over 35-40 yards
  16. Yeah the fact that he doesn't even have PJ's arm is a concern at the next level. He has more of a Teddy arm.
  17. No how good would Levis do on this test if they put a glass of milk on the table? If Bryce could only see the top half of the screen? Do they have 300 pounds guys trying to tackle you while you take it? Does the computer get tired 3/4ths of the way through the test and slow down?
