Matt Rhule-"We only had the ball 50 possessions so we couldn't really do anything" Steve Wilks- Pound that thing 45 times behind Arby's
-
His highlights are strange. He looks slow but gets it done. I guess the comp would be a shorter Gronk without Brady throwing him the ball
-
The most important thing is Rhule is gone. Rhule gone and possibly making the playoffs? I don't think anyone had that in mind. We did have plenty of Rhule defenders that said there was no reason firing him because we weren't going to play any better without him this year.

That is some horrible writing in that article

The pro turf people were like "Arizona is grass!!!". It technically is but it's also on retractable wheels in the desert so not what one would consider "natural". It still has a base foundation of a very hard surface
-
It's crazy seeing Cade Mays and Cam Erving checking in as reinforcement for 6-7 man fronts. Especially the Cade as a fullback move
-
Not sure why they won't play Higgins, his thing in Cleveland was he always got open
-
It's a popular theme on twitter when Chargers prime time games are on. Definitely holding the players back with his decisions

It's a shame the players had to spend all summer learning his ridiculous textbook of plays just to run the ball 40 times a game because his RPO's and quick outs were a disaster. Usually it's tough to ditch your OC mid season but I don't think it would have set us back that far considering how we're looking. Wilks is basically thinking of what the opposing defense doesn't want us to do on offense and going with that game plan lol.

Can Tepper find anyone better than Wilks?

As long as he doesn't dump Wilks for Quinn. That's the only truly cringe hire that's been floated in the media -

Otherwise known as "OOU" -
He's done this much, might as well give him at least one full offseason with the OC of his choosing. 2024 is where we have tons of cap space to do another full reset if necessary anyways. 2023 is going to be basically the same roster QB depending, and hopefully another receiving threat whether it's WR or TE

Watching highlights, I gotta say, Chinn still sucks playing that zone safety they're forcing him into. He's always 5 feet away from the WR in coverage. Any scrub safety can do that, he needs to be up near the line of scrimmage
-
Wilks in his presser- Don't let "it" get in the way, "it" started with the coaching change. Dayum. They heard all them Rhule interviews
-
Tre with no filter
-
Yeah they tried lots of passing plays in the 1st half and guys couldn't get open. I'm sure that's partly on McAdoo but I wouldn't be mad at the TCU WR, Notre Dame TE, or Josh Downs/Jalin Hyatt a little further back

So Richardson at 9?

WTF was that tackling

Haynes should get more snaps
