  1. Did Justin Jefferson just pull a hamstring doing the griddy?
  2. I said if he's seriously on the radar, not that they shouldn't go to evaluate in person
  3. Yeah, Richardson and Penix have to be QB3/4 after yesterday
  4. Our scouts went to the worst game possible. If Levis is seriously on Fitts radar he needs to be fired
  5. They love that Ultimate Warrior intro music
  6. Also basic soft tissue recovery. Players constantly have mentioned that it takes a couple extra days for leg muscles to recover after playing on turf. They still can't find a balance either. It's either basically concrete with a carpet on top, or they add a bunch of recycled tire pellets and then it's like running in moon shoes
  7. Tom Brady is such a bitch, kicking/tripping a guy? lol
  8. The players want grass, they practice/play 5-6 days a week and have voiced their opinions. The acute foot/ankle injuries suck, quads/hamstrings etc suck the day after when you're running on expensive carpet. Why do any of the turf defenders take the side of the owners trying to save 50 bucks
  9. When I saw this I was like yeah this guy not it. Not that I thought he was good in the first place but that attitude and immaturity you can't really change
  10. Horrible take for what reason? It's 100% because it's cheaper for billionaire owners, the soccer blog post thing you put up earlier may as well have been a paid advertisement for turf companies
  11. I think it's worth a player strike. Owners need to cough up the 25 cents it costs them to maintain a grass field. Tepper can figure out the 2 soccer games a year that overlap with Panthers games, Wembley Stadium already has a way to cover their grass field for concerts so that is no excuse.
  12. At 6'1" and 200 lbs that's not gonna work. He kinda looked like Baker against the 49ers game but more boring
  13. Watching the Florida highlights, holy crap Rattler has fallen so far from his stock 2 years ago. I didn't like him then or watching his snarky high school clips in the first place but dude might not even be a UDFA
  14. Yeah I dunno if you remember, but Lamar was looking not good in his first preseason, first year was below 60%, having a good HC found the balance and gave him confidence/schemed things up for him. If we get the right coach/OC it can work
  15. Cam averaged 59% over his career, got up to mid 60's in 2018 when he accepted check downs...
  16. I was working happy hour and the Florida game wasn't on in NY. Heard Richardson was looking good though, gonna try to find highlights. Considering Bryce might be the only guy ready to play year one, Richardson seems like the ideal project guy. Even if he busts he can run short yardage/goal line plays for 4 years like we used Cam in that Arizona game. When you see Malik/Mac Jones/PJ/etc only getting 10-15 pass attempts a game why not have a guy that the defense has to account for as a legit threat. Bigger than Lamar, faster than Cam, all I'm sayin..
  17. I still think Hendon Hooker would be hard to pass up if he's sitting there day 2 and we didn't grab anyone else yet
  18. https://nflpa.com/posts/only-natural-grass-can-level-the-nfls-playing-field The data supports the anecdotes you’ll hear from me and other players: artificial turf is significantly harder on the body than grass. Based on NFL injury data collected from 2012 to 2018, not only was the contact injury rate for lower extremities higher during practices and games held on artificial turf, NFL players consistently experienced a much higher rate of non-contact lower extremity injuries on turf compared to natural surfaces. Specifically, players have a 28% higher rate of non-contact lower extremity injuries when playing on artificial turf. Of those non-contact injuries, players have a 32% higher rate of non-contact knee injuries on turf and a staggering 69% higher rate of non-contact foot/ankle injuries on turf compared to grass.
