  1. Rewatching now. I agree with the people that are interested in switching Ickey and BC. BC would be better in pass pro at this moment, he's never going to be a road grader in the run and it's not ideal for our RB's to cut all the way outside the left tackle. Kills the RB's momentum and will usually have a CB waiting for them. You want the left or right side interior to open a gap that's an instant 4-5 yards running downhill. Ickey can clear that path now while he works on the nuance of pass pro. Of course Rhule didn't give them any reps in that combo and declared Ickey the LT off of a subpar week 1 performance and he'll look like a dumbass for walking that statement back so he won't even entertain the idea
  2. yeah 6-12 weeks to walk. To get back to NFL shape probably a year, Cam had the same thing. He got slower in general but didn't seem to affect his comfort level, probably a mix of age/weight etc
  3. Didn't catch any games, looks like Malik had a pretty good day?
  4. Did they specify if he's immediately going on IR or are they going to get him on the 53 and then IR him? I know with a lisfranc he probably can't be ready to practice by the end of the season but are there meeting room limitations if they IR him before 53 man cuts? I feel like guys IR'd that early are relegated to rehab and the weight room
  5. The whole effort by the O-line, the call in general was DOA. I'm more worried about averaging 2.5 yards a carry than Ickey falling on top of a safety
  6. Looks like he rolled his ankle more than got stepped on, this O-line though..What could anyone do behind that in your own end zone?
  7. Shi was the only guy on offense/special teams that really stood out. Not worried about Higgins, he didn't need to risk doing too much in a game like that
  8. If they IR him before 53 man cuts he can't practice at all. That's worst case scenario. He needs to make the 53 and then they can IR him for a month or whatever. Cut PJ, he'll be sitting at home waiting for Rhule to sign him to the practice squad to function as the 3rd QB in the meantime
  9. I just skimmed through the last drive he had and I don't see any glaring footage of him getting injured. Did they even mention it live or did PJ just magically appear the next drive?
  10. That would be the professional way to handle the situation. If they IR Corral before the 53 man cut he's done for the year, no practicing at all. That would be horrible for his development.
  11. If they IR him before the 53 cut he's done. So people really wanna roll into next year with the only QB on the roster Corral who gets IR'ed and can do nothing but rehab and lift weights? Starting from complete scratch next year if that's the case, don't even have the cap space to franchise tag Baker, it'll be a bonus heavy extension or nothing
  12. Those other guys haven't played yet this week so it's all camp hearsay til they step on the field Tmrw-Mon. I think they've all been put in better situations to succeed based on camp reps and better coaching for the most part. Ridder maybe not better actual coach but def more reps to be prepared
  13. I'm more concerned about how unprepared we looked towards the end of the game vs whatever string of players they had out there. Gonna have to replay the game and check out the depth charts but I feel like the 1st string Qb and O-line competitions left a bunch of our depth sitting around doing nothing the last couple weeks
  14. All 3 of Boze/Elf/Mays should def make the roster over Jordan and Erving. That's all I really care about at this point in time. They can all play inside to an acceptable level
  15. I didn't get to watch the 2nd quarter but the 4th was yet again a pretty fuged up situation for a rookie QB with no practice reps to work with. When I saw the Pats land the ball inside the 3 on that punt it was basically game over on evaluation
  16. Mays is a big dude, I like him at guard last week better than C this week. He looked fine but I'd rather have Elf/Bozeman at Center with Mays standing up than ever seeing Jordan or Erving play a game ever again
  17. He's been wasting precious reps for weeks after 2 years of not looking like an NFL coach. Not the time to relax
  18. I've read similar Baylor articles where so and so is the starter, but it might be these other two guys, and maybe the WR will just throw to himself, who knows. Sounds like surrounding him with better position coaches hasn't changed his internal habits
  19. Rhule once again leaves more questions than answers
  20. No practice reps and put him behind that garbage line in his own endzone for 10 minutes...
