    At this point if they actually want a QB I'd go ahead and do it, maybe next years 3rd and one 5th from this year to get Malik or Howell as at least a long term solid backup.

    I think it has something to do with us restructuring his contract and kicking $ over to next season. The money is due either way but I guess if it's pre-June we're stuck with taking on all the dead cap now vs spreading it out over 2 years. That's my guess anyway, OTC doesn't really let you see how both years when you select the trade options

    If this happens, how many of Rhule's guys do we still have? Just Bravvion and the Baylor center that is probably not making the team?

    KC can afford it, the other two basically have enough for the draft and not much else

    Worst case, we basically straight up trade Robby for Baker, both teams get their problem guy out of the building

    Robby and swapping 2023 picks is maybe the only way. Swap our 2023 2nd for a teams 2023 4th. Worry about getting it back later

    Not really anything worth trading players and future picks away for. We should just see whats there tmrw, trade our 4th and one 5th to move up to top of the day 3 draft if a decent QB is still there. No future 2nd's and 3rd's for any of these QB's

    A player alone would have to be DJ, Derrick Brown, maybe CMC or Horn but the injuries might throw some teams off. Robby requires some picks exchanged in some fashion

    Yeah a player and a 2023 2nd is like bare minimum to get into the top 40, considering what we have to offer. Prob some 5th's too

    Rhule being humbled and letting the scouts/GM/AGM do their job is nice and all, but he's still going to suck on the field during games when it matters. Unless he lets someone else pick starters and delegates time out calls to someone else. At that point he's just an $8M guy standing on the sideline yelling motivational slogans

    Yeah if they start flying off the board it's going to be too expensive to move up. If there's no movement by 40 we should be able to get back in at a reasonable cost.

    I think there's a run on a few of the QB's by pick 40 and it's just not worth trading next years 2nd and a 3rd/player for. Maybe grab Zappe/Eleby as competition/backup tmrw. Maybe even Strong falls that far

    Either that or truly humbled by the reality that he's not what he thought he was, as made aware to him from us and the national media. Fitt seems comfortable taking the lead though

    They have to at the least get him some decent competition in the QB room and actually play him in preseason before trotting him out there when it matters. Automatic 5th year option and basically no preseason competition last year was the dumbest poo you could possibly think up

    They'll send a player or next years picks. Or take on Bakers contract for a 3rd. Something dumb to balance out actually making the right pick at 6
