  1. Yeah people are getting conned once again by him trying to smooth talk his way through these fresh start mini camp interviews. Give it a few losses and he'll revert back to the Rhule pressers we all remember from last year.
  2. Also zero adjustments during the games. Once figured out they just kept pushing the same vanilla game plans and blaming it on execution. The slow mundane obvious losses weren't even watchable, it was so obvious we were gonna see the same things over and over again until the clock ran out
  3. It was in one of the Ole Miss youtube vids. He basically said he partied like all the other freshman and sophomores did his first two years, and realized he needed to get his poo together if he was gonna actually have a chance at being the starter and getting drafted. He got his poo together, started and got drafted. Big fuging deal. Nice of David Newton to pull a TMZ on the guys first day at rookie camp.
  4. I understand people that don't want Corral to start as soon as possible, but he will be wasting valuable time sitting behind Darnold, watching him stink it up and killing the overall stadium vibes. If he sits behind Cam it's a whole different story
  5. True. No matter how they sugarcoat it in pressers, the team is set up to let Rhule go at any moment. At this point all he does is make bad starting lineup decisions and waste time outs. Pretty sure Wilks/McAdoo/Tabor are instant upgrades with actual in game decision making
  6. Doesn't strike me as a "Sacks happen" kinda guy. I'm glad we are pretty close to having a line of highly intelligent guys that also like to hit people.
  7. Not sure what qualifies this guy as a passing game specialist or what that job entails. Baylor guys still hangin around for paychecks
  8. I had to unfollow him today after he was licking Tom Brady's nuts constantly about getting a booth job
  9. Yup. Corral scoring 15 and Darnold scoring 28 makes no difference in watching tape and seeing that Corral can process football plays quicker than Darnold. Also the wonderlic has nothing to do with having the balls to stand in the pocket and not run around like a chicken with your head cut off. I've done sample test/quizzes and it seems like a lot of stupid trick math questions. Point me towards a good free one, I'm curious to see one that's closer to whatever "official" test these guys have to take. It's like getting a food handlers license or drivers license. Just memorize a bunch of bullshit for a week, pass the test and never think about it ever again
  10. For Fitt wanting to be a "draft and develop" organization we have probably the worst head coach imaginable for that job. Hopefully McAdoo/Wilks/Campen get a large part of the say on who plays where and when
  11. Yup you can see them bracing themselves for punishment pre snap
  12. They obviously don't want him to be. What are the options? Sam for Baker straight up trade? Jimmy G gets cut and signs for $10M and we just release Sam and eat the money? It's hard finding a way to get Darnold out of the building without eating the money
  13. Not on our radar in the first place? Haven't been keeping up
  14. Darnold is gone next year so unless we trade him mid season he's just gonna walk into FA
  15. Oh but hey he donated like $10M to public libraries so it's all good. He probably even got some plaques with his foundation name hung on the walls
  16. Yeah, it's basically like 20-25 days temp work a year if you work like every game and concert. Long read but well written experience https://slate.com/business/2016/02/i-sold-beer-and-hot-dogs-at-the-super-bowl-and-got-paid-a-pittance.html
  17. What does some over developed football headquarters do for a city like Charlotte? SC will fold for something that brings in a little business for Training camp or something but helping fund a billionaires ideal office building? I thought he was an old school fat sweaty short order cook from Pittsburg that didn't need nice things
  18. A lot of tackles lose 50-60 pounds when they retire, especially the converted tight ends. Most of these guys are shoving like 2-3 times their normal calories in per day when playing
  19. They probably should have left Rhule drafting the long snapper out of the intro
  20. Yeah watching some random games, there were so many horrible drops in 2021. Definitely off targets balls at times, but lots of catchable drops. I think that's why the scrambling for first downs went up. He also slides way more than he gets credit for. Everyone made a big deal about Howell losing his weapons, and no one mentions Corral losing Elijah Moore yet finding a way to have a better record than 2020.
  21. Interesting seeing the High School highlights. Definitely not heavy on the RPO there. Also a couple 2 read plays, and that pump fake killing those teenagers
  22. Especially since he's been pretty much lost the majority of his control so far this offseason. His narcissism is like a ticking time bomb waiting for him to start micromanaging again.
  23. I mean the Browns are either going to pay most of it or all of it. That was possibly their last chance to avoid having to cut him and eating all the salary. They'll probably just keep him for now and hope someone gets injured in camp.
