Not really how it works. Eagles defensive line is ridiculously OP. Jordan davis jaylan carter Fletcher cox Josh sweat Hassan reddick nolan smith btandon Graham. Their 2nd stringers would definitely start for most teams and their 3rd stringers could impact most teams. I would argue they might have the most talented pass rushers this decade. Their throw aaways are worth investigating.

With the talent they have on their defensice line i could easily see this being worth a wavier claim. guy could come in day 1 and push Gross Matos.. what say you

I dont get the Burns hate. Yes he's a 1 trick. But its a hell of a trick. If hes rated the number 1 free agent in the league top 5 pass rusher at his position who else on the Panthers roster is top 5 of anything????? Yes you could get a first or optimally 2 first for him, but 1 of those picks at the least has to go to replacing him because did you see us on Thursday... Our pass rush without him was nonexistent.. it was awful.. 0 pressure or even hope for pressure.. Having him doesnt help bryce but Its a luxury of having an elite blitzer that you have to have...

not having him doesn’t make our win total go up and replacing him would cost you another first maybe 2 first to find someone as good.

This is a terrible take. Number 1... Burns like it or not is a young 2 time pro bowler. your not going to get him on a reddick deal when you drafted the guy and declined 2 first round picks and a 3rd for him. If hes not our best player who else could command that kind of value in a trade? Would anyone else be worth that kind of haul even cmc couldnt get you a first. YES he's our best player consistently getting double digit sacks in a league where that isnt everyday common. Nobody on this roster right now could get you a first round pick outside maybe derrick Brown so whats that say about a guy whom another team called and offered 2 first and a 3? you going to tell him hes not worth 30 million when you showed him hes worth more than 2 firsts? Bro. Yall putting 30 mil as the cap hit thats gonna break us. the cap rises every year to where 30 mill will look like a deal next year. Look at DJ Moore contract at the time compared to what came after. The sooner you sign him the better the deal looks. Next dude to get a contract paces the market. We have a terrible roster. The huddle acts like we are cap strapped. Right now we are about middle of the pack as far as cap space for next year now is the time to pay guys and add talent. This guy deserves some respect. Goes to show the work you put in could change a players trajectory. I was seriously a Chubba hater during the Rhule Era because they were using him as a Change of pace 3rd down back and he couldn't catch literally anything. He dropped every pass thrown to him. Now his hands look pretty sure.. I dont think I have seen him drop one this Year. Running hasn't really been his issue just his hands. I have never seen a guy change his ability to catch over such a period(maybe armanti edwards?) Props my guy should be the new starter...

I don't Care what the huddle thinks pay Burns. He has done everything asked of him even showed up to camp when others like Bosa held out. If he wants 30 hes earned it with 2 pro bowls.
