  1. Its true, they pitched a shutout. PJ did march us downfield though, he just happened to throw ints in the endzone. I think with Marshal and Anderson and CMC back, that problem is addressed. For a backup, he got the job done. And considering our starting QB only won 4 games, I call it a win...because it was.
  2. I didn't think his original comments were that bad...he wished we had more RZ and 2 minute-drill reps...because he obviously needed them. I don't think he meant anything by it. He just phrased in a way that put it on Brady...which wasn't cool. One things for sure, we'll have plenty for RZ and 2 minute drill practice this year regardless of the amount last year.
  3. If I catch a Patriot game, I'll want Cam to win, except when he plays us.
  4. I was thinking he was going to be backup. He won his only game last year (despite 2 endzone interceptions)
  5. So apparently this is just supposed to be the new guys. So I'm going unorthodox and just go with my gut. High: I was going to put Marshal, Perryman or Reddick, but you know what, I'm going with Christensen. I know, I know, but I just feel that by the end of the season he is going to be a very serviceable starting left tackle. I'm with Tepper. I am so glad we got him. Unsure: Tommy Tremble. Will his violent streak translate to the NFL? Will he catch? Will we target him? Low: Jaycee Horn, not because he won't do well, but because expectations are unreasonable at 8 over Fields. He's going to get burned and penalized because, well, he's a corner. In a few years, I expect him to outshine Bradberry and Norman just not his rookie year.
  6. You know I feel bad for Teddy. I think he was always meant to be bridge for us between Cam and whoever came next. He did about what everyone expected and the team did better than expected keeping us close with good teams. If he closed the deal on any of those, or didn't fall apart at the end of the season... especially that last game, he might still be here.
  7. Which should be an ADDITONAL 5 interceptions for Winston.
  8. I agree. My point was that both Winston and Darnold did not do well but Winston had ALOT more to work with than Darnold did.
  9. Its a poorly written regurgitation of the same old "Darnold throws interceptions"..."Darnold makes boneheaded decisions" crap. I should save a link to all these, because though his stats were bad, from what I've seen, they should have been much worse.
  10. I think the jury is out on Sam. Winston had weapons, a line, a coach and one of the best defenses in the league. They shut CMC down, over and over. The only reason we beat the Bucs was because Winston kept throwing the ball to us. Now they might be able to coach that out of him, but down to only 13...seems improbable.
  11. Its so pretty. I love OTAs. When's the first game again?
  12. This. I also think Arnold's going to help in the RZ too.
  13. I'd be surprised if we find a trade partner for him. He just did not perform well in the games. I agree though, the dudes on the bubble, that's for sure.
  14. Their line was pretty bad every year Darnold was there.
  15. I love the stats and hope Darnold hits them, but unfortunately its just click bait. They have most quarterbacks over 4000 yards if they play a full season. They have Wentz with the Colts at 4,388 yards, 32 touchdowns, 12 interceptions. Every fan board in the league love what they predict for their qb. Cousins with >4500, Winston with 4510 yards, 30 touchdowns, 13 interceptions. 13.....Winston... Seriously? Click bait.
  16. Just curious where the 7th rank in defense in 2016 came from. We allowed 25.1 points a game and 359 yards a game, both in the bottom half of the league. What measure did they use...age?
  17. Butler didn't produce enough to justify a first round pick at any point. He did improve, but a wasted first round pick, especially when you include the injuries. I do agree with Funchess though. I think Funchess caught the passes he needed to, especially in the 2015 season to justify a 2nd round pick. Love the catch in the endzone against GB that year. Problem was, he wasn't fast enough to get separation. So he just wasn't a number one receiver, and we tried to make him one.
  18. and the soft coverages....fiddling with formations?
  19. I used to be there...but as I look back, the switch to soft coverages with the lead, the fall off in production after Mcdermott left.... him fiddling with the formation that last season... indicates even he wasn't sure what to do anymore.
  20. Yes, but with any luck, Rhule's will be forgiven after he wins a SB.
  21. I had great hope when they said he was taking over the defense the last couple seasons....and it got worse. Looking back... 2015 was due to Mcdermott, Cam, SOS and a little bit of luck.
  22. butter knife and loin-cloth...good luck out there buddy... LOL
