  1. He clearly is putting in the work to improve. I love his range, but we can't settle for long and wrong. Hopefully he'll be on the right side of game-deciding kicks this year.
  2. link: https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1vOGwEojZrLxB Just missed 63 yard into the wind at practice Building chemistry with JJ Joe,Oscar and Thomas I've been hitting some bombs recently Question on Charltons holding improvement: knowing where the balls going to be.... is big so he can just swing He's been working with Charlton a lot this offseason- "We've taken huge strides" On JJ vs Fletcher I eliminate any understanding of whose snapping, its me vs the ball JJ is a 13 year vet because he's amazing Fletcher was drafted because of his abilities On Mental Aspects Been working with sports psychologist Dr. Perry 2x week Need to know how to quiet things in the mind If I can make my brain as strong as my body I can be successful Work on thinking on and off the field Get your mind to quiet while still thinking Use Headspace app helps go to sleep Uses a bio feedback device while kicking Coach Rhule talks about Level 4 Mastery of things, Unconscious Competence On Physical Aspects Working with Dr. Jordan Shallow for phys program and nutritionist Phil Smith to improve performance. Slye points to his St. Jude baseball hat- his parents trusted the doctors to save his brothers life...those doctors played a role in him getting vaccinated On Statistic Goals He smiles, 100% field goals in anyway to best help the team Best for the team is he hit 100% of his PATs and no field goals attempts (all touchdowns)
  3. Yeah Perryman>Whitehead on paper. This was an upgrade. Yeah, just by the change in personnel. Additions elsewhere should help as well. I do agree this looks like the weakest part of the D right now. Depth doesn't look great either.
  4. He had 3 penalties and 2 PF just in the first half in SB50 and that's just what the refs bothered to call as the broncs cheap-shotted their way to the ring. He should have been ejected after the second personal. They changed the rules that year after him and Odel were just total asses. The guy is an ass.
  5. Yeah. Well he repeated again that Matt Rhule "saved" his life going to bat for him college. He went on to say he wouldn't be there if it wasn't for him. I see nothing in this interview that would indicate Robby isn't coming back.
  6. Yeah, I think Jeremy Chinn, the rookie, who spent part of his time at safety actually had more tackles. Shaq hasn't been a start like Luke but HOF level LBs don't grow on trees.
  7. He did some true mental gymnastics. First you have to throw out the Jimmy Johnson draft values and use the Chase Stuart numbers. Then you have to assume that the value of picks in the future are the same as the value of picks today (which they aren't). He also assumed we were given this offer, you know, because they must have. If you use his logic of taking the last pick in the future rounds you have picks 20, 32, 144, 164, you get values of 15.5, 12.5, 3 and 2.1 for a total of 33.1, not 33.5 as he reported. Even so, a first rounder is 34.6 on the Stuart chart, so just about a 1st rounder. If you use the JJ chart you get 850, 590, 34, 25.8 for a sum a 1499.8 which equals a number 7 pick. Even if we did get this offer, it was NOT worth it to take it.
  8. Great find! Excellent post. My favorites: Robby was surprised by the Darnold trade, seems cool with it. NY and Carolina are night and day... Coach Rhule... it was just clear cut... be a pro, be yourself, play football, work hard, do your job. (NY) was about everything but worrying about winning It's in Carolina I'm able to just be me ...who I am just vibe and work and have fun. I'm trying to be a champion I'm ready for it to be go-time for real. Talib tells him to get to OTA's. Darnold needs you.
  9. Hate him....and the refs from that game. Fckem
  10. You know, I don't know much about last year. All I know is the ones I watched this year, her questions led to what I found the more interesting points. David Newtons questions sucked.
  11. Yes, it can. A lot always rides on the QB. So your optimistic take is like 7-8 wins? We have to go to the SB this year or the offseason isn't great? Your reserve the word, great, for much more special occasions than I do. The line I think is at 7.5 right now. So below that, in my mind, is a disappointment. Realistic is like 7-8 wins. Optimistic for me, 8-10 in wildcard contention. If we hit 8 or more wins, and beat a winning/playoff team at some point during the season, setting the stage for playoffs the following year, I would say we had a great offseason.
  12. You can only take so much battering before it affects your play. Sure he may have had some clean pockets, but he just had the tar beaten out him.
  13. Seriously @kungfoodude you sht on this? What's your deal? You just can't let disagreements go can you? That was days ago. smh
  14. No. Just No. We should start a petition. I don't think I can put with his sht another year.
  15. Watch out for Taylor. He earned his stripes at Washington, they leave em on an island there. He tore up at the senior bowl. Its gonna be fierce competition at cb this year. I love it.
  16. I knew of him. I knew he went to ND and was late round CB. That was about it. Is that OK?
  17. I did. I didn't pay as much attention to the later rounders, in particular his speed. To be fair, historically, our late rounders were wasted Hurney picks.
  18. I had no idea either. Its why I posted it. I think its because he was stuck in zone a lot last year and our secondary, well, was bad.
  19. Went back in today. Kicked the nest and ran out. I couldn't help myself, they were attacking our QB. One called him Mono Man. Some fans.
  20. Yes please. I'll take two...how many years like that can I order? Do you take credit?
