  1. Non fan sites had Little graded at 2 and sometimes 1. Who do you respect? NFL.Com :WILL BE STARTER WITHIN FIRST TWO SEASONS CBS: ;CBS Sports has Little as the No. 16 overall prospect and the No. 2 offensive lineman PFN:Greg Little is a top offensive lineman in this draft and will be a top first round pick. SI: First round Walter Football:Player Comparison: Russell Okung Many players were polarizing drafts, even Cam and Luke. It wasn't just fans, and wasn't just the panthers high on Little.
  2. My gut reaction is that you're right but... Do you think the most likely scenerio is Bridgewater > Darnold?
  3. I agree. After another year of gelling and Brady retires, we'll be looking at clearer path. 8+ wins this year and beating one winning team, would show us we're on the right path.
  4. Here's our Oline by draft position: Erving(1), Little(2), Moton(2), Elfein(3), MIller(3), Christensen(3), Daley(6), Paradis(6), Brown(6), Scott(U), Moore(U) Don't dismiss the value placed on these earlier drafts and then treat this year's draft rank as gospel. 2019 NFL Draft: The Panthers improved by drafting Greg Little and Will Grier - Cat Scratch Reader 2019 NFL Draft: Greg Little has excelled against premier talent for the past six years - Cat Scratch Reader
  5. What is more likely: 1)Darnold with a better oline, wrs, running back, OC and HC plays much better than Bridgewater....along with JC Horn improving our secondary substantially. or 2)The 4th QB chosen in the draft from Ohio State goes to the BEARS and balls out. If I had to pick, I say 1 is more likely.
  6. Not sure what happened there. You replied to a quote attributed to me, but it was @SOJA post in the quote. Funny thing is I posted the same in my reply...we are betting the Darnold is the next Tannehill and Darnold + Horn > Fields.
  7. BTW I heard a stat where the jets have the worst injury rate over the last 3 years. The best I could find online was this on the 19-20 season: ...just another last place for the jets ...and we weren't much better.
  8. 9ers traded up, so we'd be looking at 4th or 5th choice at QB. Stafford fell thru, Watson fell thru. Fit and Rhule had studied Darnold because they interviewed for jobs in NY and needed to understand their situation. They saw the flashes on the tape, saw these stats and concluded that we have another Tannehill. Once they committed to the Tannehill conclusion....the math became easy Darnold+Horn>Fields. Many analysts including all 4 at ESPN on draft day said Darnold should be the #2 pick in this years draft: Many jets fans think Darnold is going to ball out here.
  9. Hey we agree on something. So as it shakes out, are you just going to deride and insult him the whole time? Good question. Yes, the situation was very different and complicated... Cam wasn't on a rookie contract, he was much older, he only played 2 games the previous year, he was due for another long/big extension, during negotiations he posted on twitter about the team's commitment to him...in the end, no one wanted him, we couldn't even get a trade for him...Pats took him cheap cheap cheap after he sat on the market for a long time. Darnold has shown he can play after the injury. He is younger and cheaper with a shorter commitment to get him to sign.
  10. I'm just wondering what you think if of the video I posted couple posts before here:
  11. Hey thanks. I know. I learned some from other peoples posted replies to this troll. I'm just going to post a few more.
  12. TBH I really don't know much about Darnold. I don't watch jets games...and don't intend to, except the coming week1. I've seen the lowlights and the highlights. But here's one rather even handed eval: Let me know what you think.
  13. You know soon after he uttered that, they drag him away with him muttering about being right or something. You're under arrest you son of a bitch.
  14. If you notice, sometimes I delete his entire quote and leave it blank so his crap doesn't repeat, like the meme he posted. The guys a tool.
  15. Sorry I'm going to continue to reply to him. He's fun.
  16. Its funny cause its true.
  17. This. Darnold(hopefully)>Teddy>PJ>Grier. PJ did what we asked him to do, exactly what you want from a backup. Grier has not performed well in any of his starts.
  18. Huh? People have listed rebounds on the thread....you'll just dismiss it. Even so, is one example enough? You really need a dozen to make a case. Small. Data. Set.
  19. Game to game, In-game, and half time adjustments are required as part of football... You have to have a scheme that facilitates adjustments. Playing football with out any sort of contingency plan is well...not smart. Ron gumped his way to the SB on the back of Cam Newton....along with the rest of us.
  20. We will not be playing the 2020 jets. New coaching staff, new left side of the oline, new receiver, new defensive players. They have been active in FA and appear to have done well in the draft. The 2020 jets beat two winning teams last year. We beat none. We can not sleep on this game. They are coming in with something to prove. We need to bring our A game. That said, I want to blow them out. I want Darnold to hang 350 on them and CMC to rush over 100 yards. I want Burns to give Wilson a nice welcome to the nfl hit and defense to shut them down.
  21. He's just going to say blah blah blah of course I do but.....blah blah blah Darnold sucks.
  22. puters, they're a fad...like that myface and tweeter poo.
  23. Well a good game or two then. 2018 his rookie year he had over 300 yards, 20 first downs and a couple of TDs. I thought there was potential there. There were a few drops though soo...
  24. Seems he had a couple of great games when Greg broke his foot...but then he started dropping passes..some third down right in the bread basket throws....
