This has been an ongoing issue even when we were good. It also happens around the league. Refs favoring whoever they are told to favor each game. This and what happened in our Super Bowl is why I stopped watching other games 7 years ago. Some teams also get heavily favored every game like the patriots, or any other darling team, while some teams get shafted heavily like us. Its also no coincidence the problem has gotten worse now that betting is becoming more accepted.

What is the record of an NHL head coach of consecutive years of going to the playoffs before winning the Cup? Or are those coaches usually canned before they go to the Final?
